Open ThanksGiving day! You can't beat that! The store was organized and well stocked, they offer catering items if you don't feel like cooking. This is not Publix so you will find a lot of international brands and items here. Great sales too! read more

Employees attitude, my wife saw a person stacking things on a isle and went up to her and asked her in Spanish about where to find a product ( since my wife doesn't speak English and assumed she did because many employees there do did ) her response was super rude " speak English I'm Filipina " my wife said " sorry " which is the only few words she knows and walked away in shame, she came knee to me and was told of the situation and ba retired American I went over to her and told her " be glad I didn't get you fired for talking to my wife like that " . The message is clear , this falls on the store manager and hire ups for not training people right , this was our first time and our last , they're many other places to take our business. Shame on this store . And by the way the other cashiers don't have a friendly demeanor either . It's this place that bad to work for ? I guess . I want to give a shout out to this place. It's always clean and the staff are great people, willing to help. I love cuban sandwiches. This is one of the best place to get the real thing. So yummy and plenty for two. Now the rest of the place is always so many great deals on there vegetable to there meats. A place to check out. read more

We do most of our grocery shopping elsewhere for the best overall prices, but we like Key Food and do some overflow shopping here. Sometimes we find items here we can't find anywhere else. They have a large and varied produce aisle and, as you enter the store, a unique cafeteria style prepared food section. They have hot meals available with some seating, plus they prepare sandwiches. I have only bought empanadas here, but it is something I plan to try someday. They seem to semi-specialize in international foods and, like aid said above, have items I don't see elsewhere. Once I bought a package of chicken hearts, which I hadn't seen in a grocery store in years. I enjoy shopping there when we do make it. They don't have a bakery corner as most supermarkets do, but they have bakery items on shelves at the end of a couple aisles down near the registers furthest from the entrance. As for pandemic policies, they encourage but do not require the wearing of masks, and they had disinfectant available to clean your cart the last time I was there (Aug 2020). They encourage social distancing at the registers and have have plexiglass set up for their clerks. read more

I'd never been in a Bravo store before they opened this one in Mt Dora, and I have to say I'm impressed. It's fun in there, really, finding all these different things you can't generally just pick up at Publix (ie. cola champagne, quenepas, and surprisingly Worthington/Loma Linda veggie meats). It's really clean and everything looks so inviting. The one thing I would say that could improve is the communication with the ladies serving the hot food, since pretty much every time I've been the ladies only speak Spanish it's always a little struggle trying to get my order across. I get it's a Spanish supermarket, though, so can't really complain. read more

Nice to have a Bravo in the neighborhood despite all the drama it's pre-arrival created from locals. Great selection of fresh produce and quality meats. Only complaint is the lack of bread, specifically wheat and whole grain forcing me to cross the road to the overpriced Publix store. read more

Great hot bar & bakery. I can see why the working guys line up there. I do not speak Spanish but that was not a problem. Everyone in line helped me order all the delicious prepared food. Prices VERY reasonable. Going back soon. it is a nice break from too many Publix's ,etc. The grocery store was very clean and gave you a home town feeling. read more

Great selection of international foods! Delicious food in the deli. I had the empanadas - beef, chicken and cheese.

um they literally let produce drop on the floor and put it back in the bin for people to still buy, during a pamidemic. it's the carelessness for me. read more
