I had to sign some paper work to receive this price break and was told I would get a copy of that paperwork. That didn't happen. I was also forced into signing a new lease. I was told I wouldn't qualify for their covid assistance unless I signed another lease. I have been calling to find out when my covid assistance will run out. I can no longer speak to anyone in Omaha because they have shut down their offices. I call my communities phone number and get the Office in Fargo. From there I'm told they don't have the answer to my question and She will email my team to have them call me back with the answer. It's now the first of the September. No one has called me back. By this properties rules I have to pay by the first of the month or I will receive a late charge and they start the eviction process. And to top all this off, their online payment system is down. I can't get into it to even see what I owe. This place has gone so far down hill since Nelda left. She was the only person that had any customer service qualities.

I agree with the user who said if it were possible to give these people zero stars, I would. This…read moreis possibly THE worst management company on the planet! I have yet to find a single person who has enjoyed living in one of Goldmark's slums. Whether it is section 8 or a beautiful $1500/month place, the story is the same. These people do not care to do anything but collect your rent check on the first of every month. I live in Beacon Hill in Omaha, and it is an absolute S#!T HOLE! We have lived here for 8 years. The first four were under NPDodge - a wonderful property management company - and the last four have been under Goldmark. When Dodge ran this place, it was top notch! The stayed on top of EVERY little thing. If it snowed, they had a crew snowblowing and shoveling every sidewalk and parking lot within an hour. By monring, when you left for work or school, there would not be a flake of snow on the sidewalk and very little on the lot. With Goldmark, you are lucky if they even put salt on the walk before the sun does most of the job for them. The pool is rarely open, which seems to be a Goldmark trademark. It was actually a running joke with friends I had that lived in Goldmark building that we wondered how long the pool woulld have a "leak" or need to be "cleaned" this summer. On average the pools at their buildings would be open for maybe a week. And the trend came right along with Goldmark when they took over here. The first summer they ran this place, the pool wasn't open at all and has subsequently been open for a week or maybe a month since. At least they are consistent I suppose. It also seems as though they seek out the most incompitent, uneducated, unmotivated people imaginable to run their slums. There is a never ending revolving door of less than helpfull staff, that always seem to be worse than the lot before them. They hardly ever answer the phones during office hours (which also have become less and less convenient., my office isn't even open on Saturdays anymore, and have switched to 9 to 5 on weekdays, so good luck ever interacting with an actual human being if you have a normal job). I have actually called them while sitting in my car right in front of the office, because no one ever answered, and watched them completely ignore the phones. Even though no one was doing anything. The new office manager Valerie will openly discuss another tenant's or prospective tenant's issues or credit situation in front of other people - I have sat in the office and seen this one 3 separate occassions. She also seems to be allergic to doing anything more than the bare minimum, and in fact seems to go out of here way to shirk responsiblity. She also seems to tawke quite the bullyish tone with tenants - I am not one of these people as I am aware of my tenant rights - but she is all to happy to have power trips on tenants and the other staff. The only person she doesn't seem to have an attitude with is the area manager Jamie, whom she has said she was affraid would yell at her over any minor mistake. And Jamie herself seems to be quite the bully as well. I was finally prompted to write a review tonight when the hot water knob on my kitchen sink literally exploded creating a geyser of scalding hot water in my kitchen. Had I not had moderately quick reflexes, the know would have actually knocked me directly in my right eye. Somehow upon their many "inspections" for things to fix, they miraculously missed the kitchen faucet that had visible signs of corrossion and rust. Calling the "emergency" maintenance line is a total joke. They inform you that they can "send a message to the apartments". After three calls, and me finally screaming at them that there was not a leak in my apartment, but that my sink exploded and was shooting boiling hot water into the are with serious force, they continued to tell me that they could not give out a number as they did not have one and all they could do was send a message. When my "emergency" maintenance guy finally did call back, he informed us that they had only tried him once and that he lived roughly 20 minutes away from my apartments and would be here ASAP. When he got here, he was actually very concerened and apologetic that he could not be here sooner. He also told me that the emergency line did have a number to call, and had left him only one message even though we called them 3 times, and that they had orders to call the maintenance guy's boss if they could not reach himso that someone could get here soon (they appearantly never did this). Between our first call to them and him actually getting her was roughly 40 minutes! 20-30 of which was spent with myself and my upstairs neighbor burning ourselves trying to turn off the water. Bottom line, these people will do nothing more than take your money! If you have other options I strongly encourage you to explore them. Words narrowly describe how awful this company is!

They disregard the need from everything to compassion to caring about basic human needs, especially regarding health and safety. Not to mention horrible leaking after storms (sometimes shortening out the lights in the main pathways and in the units) which also caused a lot of black mold growth -which does not get taken care of by the way-; the list can go on and on, everything from demeaning and condescending upper management, or never office management. The physical and emotional turmoil this company has influenced so much of is not worth it. After a terrible last several years, I will be glad to no longer be associated. Thank you for your time.

It did not affect anyone nor did anyone complain about it. He wasn't even parked there for 5 hours and the company towed him. Not only did they tow it, they did not inform us of this so we thought it was stolen. There is not a no parking sign and now we ended up having to pay a hefty towing fee. They only care about getting money and do not care about anyone around them. The maintenance is also horrible, when I can get them to actually do what needs to be done. They were sure quick to hike the rent when they took over.

Cara is easy to work with and clearly values her customers. When the owner, of my rental, decided to sell the property Cara went above and beyond to make the transition of ownership as easy as possible for both the owner and myself (the renter). If you want a friendly, hassle-free, modern experience with a capable property manager, look no further. It's rare to find this kind of service in any industry. Thank you, Cara!

As a homeowner- while PJ morgan is quick to respond to emails, you CANNOT trust that it is accurate information. In fact, the information they are providing to title companies is misleading regarding our HOA fees, which makes me question if they are opening our HOA up to legal recourse. Watch your accounts carefully, because I have had to correct their mishandling of my fees. As a Board member, our representative is totally unresponsive. This makes it terribly difficult to handle matters in a timely fashion-if at all. We now have a manager looped in and while their response is a bit better- it is still lacking. I do value that they offer free HOA courses. But those are completely useless if we have to struggle to manage our HOA due to their unresponsiveness.
