Her practice in Flushing is based on her wonderful view of life. I have taken my two Golden Retrievers there for several years now. She and her staff, take the time to answer questions and accommodate our needs. Staff are friendly and always patient. They know us by name and are willing to manage prescriptions and services with patience and flexibility. I trust them implicitly. One of touching parts is how the Dr Koan and staff see the dogs personality. The 'patient' is not just a dog. She has a soul and personality that is respected. Before Riverside, I only had to drive 15 minutes for my dog's care. I willingly drive 45 minutes to be with these wonderful caring professionals. Since I'd never done this before I was hesitant to trust my little friend to strangers. My pup passed her meet-and-greet with flying colors, and it eased a good measure of my discomfort. After having boarded her several times now, were BOTH happy with their staff and services. I never worry about her while she's there, and I often forget to even check in on her (except when my grandkids ask if we can see her!). Now when I pack her things, she knows where she's going, and it's not uncommon for her to be too excited to eat or drink, and even if I'm not ready to leave she'll get in the car and won't get out. We're both happy we found Four Paws Hotel and Day Resort! (I referred my sister to them, and now her dog is a regular when she leaves town as well.)

She has now worked with two of our Belgian Shepherds. Both came to her with seemingly insurmountable issues including dog and person aggression. Nichole combined obedience training with various sports training and both dogs are now well on their way to being really good dogs. Nichole is an extrordinarily great trainer. The price of her programs are fair and her results far exceed those of other much higher priced boot camps and board and trains. I can't recommend her highly enough!
