She is absolutely amazing and the best advocate any patient could ask for. This young lady goes above and beyond for her clients and it shows. She listens and is very attentive. If I have ever had an issue this young lady makes it a point to let me known I am seen and heard. I could not have asked for a better experience stepping back into therapy after several years. Now on the other hand, as far as scheduling and admin. They need better systems in place and a team that actually picks up the phone for their clients and responds promptly. The front desk and admin department is an absolute mess and unorganized.... Please, if you get lucky with a great therapist and decide to continue your journey with Aspire, document EVERYTHING!!!!!! keep a record of all communications...So there are no discrepancies on your end. After a few sessions, the doctor informs me she is leaving the practice to go back to working with adolescents, and that she would be handing me off to another doctor. I do not understand how they give these doctors license to practice psychiatry care, when they do not take the time to listen to their patients or read their history notes. At some point, throwing medication at someone isn't always the best solution. To make matters worst, you have to tell the doctor you want them off your service and that you want to seek another doctor. Really? I will look elsewhere. Do not come here if you only want pills shoved down your throat!

Dr Mitchell (psychologist) is, by far, the best therapist I have ever had. She's grounded, practical, and despite a heavy case load, was willing to add me on in a pinch when I was going through a personal crisis and needed therapy services. Dr Astrada (psychiatrist prescribing meds) is a sweet man, simple and straight forward. The office is beautiful, immaculately clean, and organized. The front desk staff always remember you and take the time to work with you. They do have issues answering the phones at times, but this is the nature of this type of organization. The volume of calls that come in are quite excessive (as observed by me in the waiting room and comparing to the clinic where I work), and sometimes calls cannot be returned right away. However, I have always gotten a call back promptly. I highly recommend this place and you'll love all of the mosaic artwork. Dr Mitchell ROCKS! :D

I have always shown up 10 min. prior to my appointment, and sometimes was left waiting for an hour to be seen. When I called to reschedule my appointment, I left 2 messages on that day. The following day, I called 4 times, leaving 3 messages. Still no one called me back. I used my daughter's phone and called and they answered on the 2nd ring to tell me to walk in the next day, and be there early b/c they only take 5 walk-ins. I have children, go to school, married and live on the other side of town. This is a complete hardship for me. I am changing counseling. I cannot believe this is a place to get therapy.
