She offered to make it right by getting the $300.00 deposited and reversing the $25.00 service fee. I declined. Too much nonsense and too many other banks around. Chapter closed, or so I thought. I started getting notices about being overdrawn. On a closed account. This past weekend I received a notice that I was overdrawn by $111.00. Really??? Called the customer service line and was informed , by someone whose first language was not English, that Citizen's Bank re-opened my account to assess fees and penalties. Go elsewhere.

I didn't feel like I was even inside of a bank because there were cute dog photos all over. I had to update my accounts so I needed some in person help for this visit. I didn't wait very long and was helped quickly. The guys working here also helped show me how to log into the app and update all my accounts at once to avoid having to call and make individual updates. They saved me tons of time and frustration and they were very friendly.

My mother, in a nearby nursing home, was unable to get out of the car, per restrictions from her physical therapist. The branch manager, Nancy, explained in the phone what documents were necessary, and what exactly needed my and my mother's signature. She explained the process and how long it would take, and though she had a meeting scheduled the next morning when I was going to bring my mother, she personally alerted her staff, so everyone knew the situation and what needed to be done. When I walked in, I was greeted by one of the tellers who immediately said oh you must be Eileen. She had the paperwork from Nancy all ready to go, showed me where the documents needed signatures, and walked out to the car with me to meet my mother. She patiently explained everything in detail to my mother and made sure that my mother understood everything and the process. The branch manager was just getting out of her car and hustled over to introduce herself to us. She walked the paperwork, the teller and me directly back to her office to process it herself. I can't praise the staff enough for being so kind, patient, accommodating and thoroughly professional. This is a large, open, bright and Erie Bank. There's computer screen at the reception desk and you use the touchscreen to enter in your name and then have a seat to the left or to the right or you can sit in upholstered chairs and watch TV in little living room like settings. They take walk-ins as well as appointments and they have a financial advisor on staff for investments. I intend to rejoin this Credit Union as a member.

When he passed away…read morehe left money to his grandson that I have overseen for the last six years and was paying him his monthly amount of money.I was told by the bank from the very beginning that I would not be charged any money monthly because my father had such a good standing with this bank. But when the account became very low I noticed that there was a charge for $15 for that month, I called the bank and they said once the account became $5000 or less they would be charging a service charge of $15.00 . I was never told this so for the last few years they've been making a lot of money on my fathers money and they made me pay those charges until it was closed! If I had I known this I would have put the money in my bank key bank, They do not charge any monthly charges at all no matter what I have in the account!
