Mr. Ned has been a barber for nearly 40 years and is probably the most compassionate and gentle soul you'd ever meet. This school teaches you the core old school barbering skills and sets you up to pass the Louisiana State Board Exam. Classroom work is conducted in the morning and afternoon for about an hour, the rest of the day students are gaining practical experience by cutting hair in real customers that walk in. I really feel that made the best decision of my life to join this school and I am learning a craft that can be used for a lifelong career! Highly recommended, call Mr. Ned today.

I have multiple children at Prien Lake Elementary school and have been very pleased with their…read moregrowth, teachers, and academic opportunities over the past 5 years. Each teacher that my children have had go above and beyond to encourage learning and use creative methods to engage the kids. If you are considering this school you should know that they use an accelerated curriculum. I have known quite a few families that moved into the area and had to spend a little extra time initially working with their children to stay with the quicker pace. We were in the same boat too. The French program is fantastic... but I didn't ever consider how my my kids would use their 2nd language (that my wife and I don't speak) to scheme against us . The kids spend 1/2 their day in a traditional class and then have Math, Science and Social Studies in French - by 2nd grade it is only French allowed in the classroom. The kids pick up the language so fast. No school is perfect. But, this school succeeds in having a solid administration, excellent teachers, and very involved parents.

If you have a party of 10 or more, you can request a private room. We arrived, signed in, and was directed to our table..blank canvasses, and paint. We each bought wine. The establishment had bottle openers and disposable cups. I bought my own glass; others had Yetis and other drinking containers. There was music, games, giveaways, etc. We all had so much fun! I would definitely go again.
