When I first started going here, I paid for 1 year upfront. After that year was completed, I didn't…read morego back for 2 years due to life circumstances. When I decided to go back, I wanted to get an x-ray & exam, and then find out the pricing for my care plan so that I could earn the money for it. (Jodi told me it was Lisa I spoke to) I was told by Lisa that I count as a new patient again since it's been a little more than 2 years since my last visit so I apparently qualified for the $47 New Patient Special for x-ray & exam, and I set it up with her on Friday, July 5th, 2024 and she set my appointment for Monday, July 8th, 2024. The money was taken out of my bank account & I received email confirmation. (Jodi told me it was Laura I spoke to) Laura said to me on the day of the appointment in a cold tone, "I remember you. I was on the phone with you just last week. You made 2 cancellations just last week. You're not a new patient because of those cancellations so you must pay $99." That actually never happened though. Laura then said, "We have no record of you paying $47 so you can't have the x-ray & exam." and "We have no record of you paying $47 so we're not giving you a refund. You can pay $99 and we can set up an appointment." I provided bank statement & email proof. I said, "I am already down $47. I don't have an additional $99 to spend right now. I was just above the balance where I'd be charged a $35 overdraft fee so I'd actually be losing $181." Laura said in a judgmental tone, "Quite frankly, if you can't even afford a $99 exam, how do you expect to afford treatment in the future?" Lisa & Laura (it was them according to Jodi) took turns on the phone with me and said, "Let me be quite frankly honest with you. Even if you can prove you paid, we will just refund it, because we've decided to disqualify you as a candidate for our facility." Jodi said they found the proof I paid, apologized & refunded me as you'll see in the last 2 photos. They said I can come back so I did. But there was a day my neck was hurting so badly that I had a severe migraine, extreme vertigo & I was throwing up & crying out in pain all morning. Brushing my teeth sent knife pains in my neck. I was unable to undress myself so I showed up in my long sleeve long pants pajamas. My friend came with me because I was in no condition to drive, and sat 2 seats away from me which made them assume I was alone, and Susi, their insurance & billing specialist, saw me and said, "Really? You showed up here in your pajamas? You do realize that's crazy, right?" I explained to her how much pain I was in and she said, "You do realize you're just making up a bunch of excuses, right?" and as I opened my mouth to respond, she walked away before I could. Incredibly disrespectful. Nearby patients looked appalled, disgusted, and in shock. My friend heard it all and said, "What was THAT about?" I received yet another apology, and they gave me an a lot more affordable deal than other places as part of that apology, so we started over. They kept putting me alone in a room with one of them & harassing me to erase my Google review or change my 3 star Google review to 5 stars. They said they want to end our "relationship" if I don't. They tried to manipulate me, saying I'll be preventing others from receiving care when they decide not to get treatment because of me & my review. They said I'm "holding [them] hostage with [my] review." They have no accountability. THEY are responsible for the reviews they get when they're unprofessional. When the owner put me in a room alone with him & shut the door to try to change my mind, his wife Jodi came running, opened it & said "I do not advise you leaving the door closed alone with HER." suggesting I'm a psycho who might do something dangerous. When I told them my decision to cut ties, Jodi made a remark that she's glad to not have to deal with this any longer, as if they are the victims. I asked her to consider if it were her daughter, crying in agony for hours like I do, showing up to get insulted by the very people meant to help her.
