Would any of those open up on their days-off to support a customer needing to repair his own furnace? I doubt it. Try calling the Home Depot or Lowes during off hours, you'll only get a recording. Dave K's message (at 238-2476) instructed me to phone him at home and he was able to meet me an hour later at the shop. Krentzman Supply is our hero, opening up for me to pick up repair parts and spare parts, now on more than one occasion. The other warehouse store down the Pike asked me not to return until I opened a commercial account with them. I have no reason to do that or ever to grace their doors again. Not with Krentzman supply !!

Maven Construction, part of BuiltMaven.com and formerly DS Siding installed a full new roof in…read moreAugust 2022 at my home in State College and refused to come look at the leaking roof 2 years later stating there was no longer a warranty. Sam at Maven Construction who installed the roof as DS siding, required $250 to come out to look at the leak for a service call and stated it wouldn't be covered regardless of what he saw. The 2 separate and independent roofers provided me with repair estimates and both found the leak to be from installation error, poor workmanship, a lack of properly installed flashing, exposed nail heads, damaged shingles from walking during a hot installation, and a negated manufacture warranty from Owens Corning due to incorrect installation. Shoddy workmanship as the leak origin was confirmed by the insurance adjuster. Sam has not rectified the situation, the damages incurred, nor the improperly installed new roof. I do not recommend Maven Construction as they provided inferior and subpar work and do not stand behind their installation with a sufficient roof warranty. 0 stars. Do not use.

The buildings are unheated So wear a jacket in the winter. Don't wear good shoes like I did, I wore brand new sneakers today and was walking through mud and stagnant water throughout the grounds. If you find something on a third floor, for example, you have to look around for employee who is going to give you a price right off the top of their head. They do haggle but it's almost as if they don't want to unload anything. Add that we chose something, I had to walk all over the place looking for the guy to pay. He just put the cash in his pocket. I guess maybe he's a manager I don't know. I'm not sure my pictures do it justice. Many of the items are broken or chipped. They do have a lot of restaurant type equipment, but as I said very little in the entire set up has any kind of pricing on it. So you could be on the fourth floor, find something, have to find someone to find a price for it, go to another floor all the way in the back find someone to give you a price, it's like that all over the place. They have several trucks to sort through and they just leave it there. A lot of old outdated hotel furniture too. One tiny room had a lot of books in it and I was thinking it be fun to pick up a couple, and that would be a great room for them to just put a price sticker on the wall. Hard covers this much paperbacks this much. Seriously it's a total mess.

I've gotten anything from reclaimed wood to old records here. Any time someone I know needs furniture, I stop here first because the stuff they have is usually in really good shape and they let it go for pretty cheap. Yes it's not organized, but then how could you with the variety of stuff they have. It's a really cool place to find old stuff or supplies for a DIY project. They also demolish buildings in a safe and good priced way.
