It's a modern church and I'm still mixed on that concept. The songs generate a lot of emotion but there's no depth to any part of the service. The pastor is articulate, but his Christmas service focused on Simeon and Anna... which made no sense to me. He also combined the birth of Jesus with sin... in a ying/yang manner. Again, not the message I expected. No traditional Christmas carols, no holy night... but if all you want is a quick hit, in and out... this is your place. read more

From the first visit, this Church felt like home. We were welcomed from the beginning, I love that connection is emphasized at Keystone. The cornerstones of Keystone are The Bible and our relationship with Jesus Christ. A beautiful church with a really nice staff! Absolutely love Pastor John Cope and Pastor Rusty, they teach the word of God clearly. The worship is very modern not traditional at all, the Holy Spirit is welcomed at this church.. Dress down and feel the presence of Jesus here, ain't no pretentious pompous behavior at Keystone.. Jesus is made clear without a mention of Politics in this mostly Republican area of Montgomery County (Jesus and loving one another is taught here) No politics! My husband and I moved to the Philly area about three years ago. We wanted to find a church that had awesome worship and scriptural teaching. We left a strong church family at home. I wasn't sure we would find a place we really liked. I had heard about Keystone from some college friends that attended Thrive. We tried it out one Sunday and haven't looked back. I truly love the services at Keystone!! When we are home I miss Keystone! The messages are straight from scripture. Pastor John and Pastor Mark do an incredible job sharing God's word each week. Worship is awesome! I don't want to say that I'm "picky" about worship, but it's important to me to really sing and praise The Lord. The worship consists of new and old praise and worship songs. If you don't like upbeat with drums, it may not be your favorite. But they do a great job with song selection. Worship may be my favorite part if the service. The pastors have a great sense of humor and really want to share God's word. And the goal of Keystone is not to grow big and loose people, but to reach out. I like that about this church. My fiancé and I just moved to the area and have been searching for a new church home for the past two months when I came across the Yelp reviews and decided to give Keystone a try! As evidenced by my 5-star review, I know we will be back and hopefully set roots. We lucked out by going when the message was about acceptance and partiality and boy did I feel welcome! Everyone was super nice, the music was amazing and the message sealed the deal for us! Can't wait to see where God takes us in our new home and am looking forward to plugging into the community. I really enjoy attending the services at Keystone. Everyone is so friendly and always a moving message from Pastor John or Pastor Mark. The service is always touching and up lifting. I will start by saying the one star is only because no stars is not an option.....I went to this church today for the first time. The music was nice. The pastor is a joke. Not a true Christian, but a gay bashing, uneducated fool. How can you preach love and then bash anyone? He even went so far as to say, "most people are homosexual because they were abused!" I get that we are not accepted in some places. I accept that. I stopped going to church years ago for this reason. I felt that this church would be different, open and accepting of all people. Wrong. Clearly this man is uneducated and naive and it makes me sick that so many people agree with him. Once upon a time a man could "buy" his wife, and then stone her if she was not a virgin and better yet have as many wives as he wanted. Yet, two men or two women who love each other is evil... I'm sure this church has some good and loving people but today's pastor is not one of them. Stay away from this church if you want to be accepted for your differences. It is not a choice to be gay. Why would someone choose a harder lifestyle?!? read more
