This is for the KFC on Abbott. Perhaps the worst KFC chicken I have eaten. It appeared in general that the order was overcooked(an 8 pc bucket) because the wings were dry and dark brown almost black, the thighs were essentially the same. I did notice that the signature KFC flavor was missing, and tasted almost like a rub of sorts. First off ordering here is way hard and the people you're talking to don't help. Their menu is BIG. And they have several different meal options for the same food just slightly different variations. Not to mention what it says on the website is completely different. First time a few weeks ago I wanted to try the chicken sandwich. It had crispy chicken, pickles, with some kind of sauce on a brioche bun. They asked what other kind of sauce I wanted, spicy, honey mustard or bbq I didn't want either because I knew it had a Mayo or ranch like sauce already. The combo came with their new fries (delicious) and a drink. Online it said there was that combo as one number and it also had another combo with the sandwich, two sides, biscuits, and a drink. I don't think that is an option. Next time I went I said I wanted the chicken sandwich with the two sides and a drink combo. This time it ended up being the box with a mini chicken sandwich, popcorn chicken, two sides and a drink. No biscuits. It was $12.99. Which I get this is kfc which actually has good chicken but the portions are really small for the chicken sandwich and popcorn chicken. I got like 6 popcorn prices and the sandwich is about 1/3 of the regular. I got masked potatoes and Mac and cheese. Small containers I think but was enough. Potatoes were great as always and the Mac and cheese was actually not bad. I'm a Mac and cheese Connoisseur and quite picky. This was hot, creamy, with big noodles. Next time I'll try and take a picture of the menu because the ones posted on here do not reflect the current menu. And so I can study it. This is down the street from my job so I have this as an option when there isn't too much nearby that is quick and good. read more

Until recently I didn't have much positive to say about KFC here. The regular chicken I had was always very oily and they invariably forgot something - spork, honey sauce, dipping sauce, etc. And the price seemed fairly high. But I tried their chicken fingers a couple of weeks ago. Freaking great! Everyone should try them. I thought Raising Cane's were good, but these are next level. read more

The KFC food is always good-fitting the national standard for KFCs-but it the other stuff. I have found the employees helpful and friendly and nice-good service all around. But the drive through is slow even without a line of cars waiting and waiting. So I prefer to go in to order and eat. The service is faster at the counter but you feel the filth. The kitchen is visible and it's always messy and nasty. The dinning area has unwashed tabletops and sticky floors. Someone needs to be on cleaning duty behind the counter and in the dining room. Just order at the counter and eat someplace else as long as you don't look too close. It will be just fine. Good food and good employees. read more

This place has tasty mash potatoes and Garvey. This place is a nice restaurant. They have manny options of meat and the seasoning for them.

Their Smokey Mountain BBQ is no kidding the best chicken I've had anywhere. Along with their magical mashed potatoes and gravy, it's possibly the most underrated lunch in town. As far as fast food goes, this particular restaurant is always tops in service as well. read more

I dont eat here, but my sister loves it. So we frequent the drive thru often, and it is always a wait. I am not sure if it is all KFC's in the Anchorage area, but the wait time is slightly ridiculous. Maybe they are under staffed or whatever the issue may be I dont like it. read more

Ordered and got the big box at the drive thru. Lid on the drink was not all the way on so I spilled it some. The meal was a leg and two thighs and one thigh was small and mostly breading. The chicken was not fresh and the potatoes was cold. The best thing was the Cole slaw. It's a bit spendy for the quality of food I got and I have had good quality at KFC. Hopefully this location is just having training issues. read more

I tried to take advantage of ordering online as I do like KFC. Wanted the $20 special fill you up bucket with coleslaw, mashed, gravy and I think biscuits. Every time I tried to add it to the shopping basket the price went to $28. Ok, figured it was Alaska. Ok 5 stars for food and service. Even with floor needing mopping, I give a 5 for this reason: ordered 2pc and found 3pcs! Ha lol, and before I found that nice surprise, as I was sitting down, the counter server-order-taker, handed over a 2nd fresh biscuit! I had a biscuit in the order, but she felt that it was not risen enough (I thought it was simply smushed when I looked at it). And she was very sweet.
