Went here Sunday night and it was super busy! Employees were nice and the food was good!

This was a disappointing trip. This location generally serves decent fried chicken 8 out of 10 times the chicken is great. Two out of 10 times the chicken's fat is congealed under the skin. Well, unfortunately, we tried the chicken and waffles, big mistake. The chicken was 4 out of 10 stars. The mashed potatoes were practically inedible--cold and congealed gravy, the waffle was cold, flavorless and dense. Really surprised at how poor the quality of this meal was, my wife agreed only her ratings were lower. Never again. I threw half of my meal in the trash. Service was good and accurate if you give the benefit of doubt that the preparers did see how cold and poor the food was. Take out so ambiance was not a factor. From counter to home is about 7 minutes so travel time wasn't a factor. read more

Another great experience at this location. For a fast food joint you'd expect less I'm sure, but over the years and constant visits here it's been nothing but great every time. The woman helping us was so friendly, talkative and made us feel welcome. We were able to order quickly and had our food by the time it took us to fill up our cups. Everything was hot and tasty. Cottonwood KFC is very clean, looks new with a nice exterior. I had a craving for fried chicken and the Colonel satisfied. I had 2 breasts, original recipe, a wing and biscuits. The chicken was great. I subtract a star for high fast food prices, not many specials and staff needs some additional training although they were friendly. Recommended. read more

Sorry to see these guys fall. This location was the last of the "good guys". They recently turned to the dark side, however. What am I talking about, you ask? They no longer serve baked beans side dish! The delicious, mouth watering baked beans that perfectly complement a piece of chicken. The baked beans that are better than my mom can make. Yeah, those baked beans. I guess they now serve some cheaper substitute. All to save a nickel. Shame. There are no longer any KFC in Arizona that I'm aware of worth eating at. read more

The pot pie was extremely good. Lots of chicken and very fresh too. There had been times in the past I got one and it really wasn't that great at all. LIke it had been laying around too long. Female manager at night is rude. My order sat on the counter for 30 minutes and then she says it's ready. Staff is unorganized and to focused messing around than working. I refused to take product that was sitting out for my family. The don't give refunds in the store. The blame door dash for their issues. Currently disputing the charge on with Apple as they charge my card anyway. The manger is never in the store at night when they get the bulk of their business. No call from the manager for resolution. I will never recommend a soul to walk through their door. read more

So please discard the one star rating this KFC is a disgrace to the KFC brand, I have been eating KFC for 40+ years tonight I spent $35.69 for a 12 piece family meal with three sides and biscuits the chicken was terrible 6 of my 12 pieces were 1 bite each as you will see in the pictures.. I put a regular spoon next to the chicken to demonstrate the size. We need more Popeyes chicken or el pollo loco. KFC is out and getting to expensive. Time to go KFC!!!! read more

I always get a family size cole slaw when I get close to Cottonwood KFC. But friend wanted a meal so we went inside. Our server was just one of the nicest people one can find....we ordered from her at the counter but talked to her when she was doing other duties. And the cole slaw is now in a recycle container which makes me happy too. Clean restrooms and kind workers who are friendly and helpful. One of the BEST fast-food chain restaurants I've ever been to. It is very clean, the staff is VERY professional, and the food has always been great. Anytime they've ever missed an item I ordered (which has been very rare) they've been very apologetic and sincere. One time I came through I forgot my debit card, which was extremely embarrassing, and I didn't realize until I had already ordered my food and was at the window to pay and the young lady at the window paid for my food!! I was mind-blown. I don't expect much from fast-food chain restaurants, ESPECIALLY the ones here in Cottonwood, but they go above and beyond and are always my first pick when I want a quick, cheap lunch. After all of the high reviews here on yelp for this KFC, which I find unusual for the average KFC, we went here yesterday for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The woman at the counter was extremely nice and helpful. We ordered two of the Country Fried Plates. They were very good. While there, she told us about the Chicken Pot Pies which were on sale 2 for $6. and how good they are. Today, my wife went to get them for our lunch. The Manager told her rudely that the sale was over. My wife has a very sweet disposition and simply asked if he would honor the price since she had driven there just for that. He could have been polite and said he couldn't and that would be that. But his manners were so bad that she left and now she says she was NT go back again. Good Food, Clean establishment, courteous counter help... A jerk for a Manager. No thanks. No excuse in this day and age for treating a polite customer that way. read more

I'm here frequently and all the younger workers are always very helpful and super fast. However I went in on valentine's day (Feb 14 @ 1pm) to pick up a order, and an older woman (her name tag said Leslie) i'd never seen before was working the cash register. She was extremely rude not only to us and others ordering, but at one point started YELLING at one of the kitchen workers (for absolutely no reason, I saw the whole exchange and she was extremely out of line) in front of about 6 of us customers. It made us all very very uncomfortable. She was also very slow getting our drinks, and did not change her gloves once between handing out food, changing trashes, wiping down tables, etc. Nothing else wrong with the restaurant, the food is always good and usually the service is amazing as well, but this one time this lady created a extremely sour experience for not only me, but for the other customers there as well. read more

It's KFC! The thing that I really love about this place is the staff. There is a woman that works the front counter, I have forgotten her name, but she is on believably fun and friendly! If she notices you looking up at the posted menu trying to figure out what you want, she will just say "Just tell me what you want honey and I will figure it out from there!" And she does!
