Arrived at drive-thru at 1:22 pm. Line was long and slow. Could not hear the staff that well through the speaker, I think he said they were cooking chicken. I ordered a thigh and drum meal deal, 12 or 14 pieces. Get to the window and pay at 1:42 pm and he tells me to park. I go in at 1:50pm and I only see about 4 breasts in the storage trays. I wait a few minutes and decide just to leave. I consider this a $24 life lesson to never return. This continues to be the worst KFC and Taco Bell in the world. I have sworn off this place, and in fact have not been there in a couple of years, but occasionally (like tonight) my wife forces me to go here because it's so close. We ordered a two piece breast and wing but got a breast and thigh. The mashed potatoes were like boxed potato flakes done badly. I got the Mexican pizza and not only were they out of refried beans, they only put about a tablespoon of meat on it and it was just slapped together. It's hard to suck at both being KFC and sucking at being Taco Bell, but they manage to excel at both. If I could I would give them a negative number. I used the KFC website to order catering more than a day ahead of when I needed it. I had volunteered to bring dinner to the cold weather shelter in Westminster, and I thought this would be a nice treat. Everyone loves fried chicken, and the options were good and site was easy to use. When I entered the restaurant to pick up my order, I was shooed out. Okay... covid. I could've done without the attitude, but I could sit in the notoriously slow drive through to get my rather large order. When I got to the ordering box, I was told they couldn't fill my whole order. When I got to the pickup window. I was told they couldn't give me any of my order. I was already late and now I had to scramble to figure out how I was going to provide food for 30 hungry homeless folks who had spent their day in the cold. The manager offered no alternatives and didn't try to make it right. Thank goodness for the good people of Genova's! I later contacted the KFC customer service and suggested the way to make it right would be for them to provide food one night for the people at the shelter. It's been more than three weeks, and KFC has shown no interest in repairing their reputation or helping their community. read more

Idk whose recipes they're using but it damn sure ain't the colonel's. The pot pie tasted strangely of rosemary and I think it had stuffing in it. I don't even have a word for the texture of the chicken in it . Also the original recipe was cooked harder than Popeyes and the biscuit was so hard aka cooked within an inch of its life. I come from Westminster,MD to come to this KFC. Yesterday I had the worst chicken there. The chicken was old and dry, the sides was old two fries were not fresh the mash potatoes was ok. My daughter had the tender meal is was bad also the soda was the only thing good. For the money we spend it was a very bad experience. We will have to search for somewhere else to get chicken from. I had reward all the reviews and still, stupid me, gave them a chance. I walked in, all the employees were sitting at a table on their phones. When I walked in two got up and slowly walked to the kitchen area. Finally one came to take my order. No greeting just "What can I get you?". I placed my order for a meal that included Nashville Hot chicken. I could see the girl in the kitchen making it. I could see her just squirt some sauce on top of the bowl So it just got the tops of some of the meat. But was everywhere else. The girl who handed me my meal looked miserable and walked back over to the table where the remaining employee was still sitting in his phone. I've worked in fast food and restaurants. When we were "slow" we were either cleaning or stocking something. We always greeted each customer as if we were happy to see them. Back to the bowl. Completely underwhelmed. This has always been a terrible KFC that I tend to retry every few years in hopes that they have new management. Its always the same problems 1. KFC biscuits are hard as a rock (every single time) 2. They are out of chicken (how is this possible?) 3. They don't have anything prepared / understaffed and you wait 25 minutes to find out the biscuits from last month were the only thing pre-prepared. I've been to this KFC/Taco Bell a few more times since I wrote the last review and the place seemed to have turned around. There is still a little bit of the high school-ish behavior / professionalism like playing around behind the counters, loud discussions that the whole restaurant can here, and taking smoke breaks right next to the entrance. These are relatively small things though. The important thing is that orders are taken and filled promptly. The last few times everything has been accurate the first time. Now they don't always do a great job of evenly applying the sour cream throughout the taco or the beans in my Nacho Supreme may be lumped on one side of the tray but hey its fast food and its at least correct. I may actually use their drive thru or :gasp: not check the boxes before I get home. read more

Please remember to put the sauce in the chicken quesadillas. As you see, I have a slight obsession with the quesadillas, solely because of the mild sauce that's inside. I order two usually because they're so good. However, I almost died of disappointment today as the sauce was nowhere to be found inside either of my quesadilla. I have NEVER experienced such awful service. After having to change our order several times because they did not have that item (sweet tea, lemonade, Mac n cheese, cookies) we were told it would be 20min for chicken. After 35 mins I asked to speak to the manager. They finally found the manager out side where he was talking on his cell phone, he then proceeded to ask me what I wanted him to do. He only had 4 people working and 2 were new and didn't know what they were doing. He also says, "I can't make people come to work" I asked for a corporate number, to which he responded, "they will tell you the same thing" and never provided me with a number. It was over 50 mins before I finally received my refund after the manager was yelling at the employees and told 2 of them to leave. (Again, keep in mind 4 employees - 1 "manager" on his phone, - 2 told to leave = 1 employee) needless to say, I will never be stepping foot in that place again. read more

This is the worst KFC I have ever been to! The drive through is so slow. I went back in the summer once and swore I would never go again. But I went back this evening after about 6 months and I think it was even slower! I waited in the line for almost 30 minutes. It took me 10 minutes to get to the screeen where you order. Than I sat there for 15 before they came on the speaker to ask for my order. So after 25 minutes when I placed my order I was told that they did not have enough original recipe chicken for an 8-piece meal. Believe me I would never have sat in the drive through line that long but the way the drive through is designed you can not get out of it! Back in the summer, they gave you a free cake because of your wait. This time I did not order food because they did not have what I wanted. I am not sure if it is the most poorly managed restaurant I have ever been to or just under staffed. But I will NEVER go back. I hope they put another chicken place in Hampstead. A Chick-Fil-A or Royal Farm Store would be great!! read more
