Our family ordered the basic chicken sandwich, half of a rotisserie chicken, chicken nuggets, and fries. Everything was fresh and tasty. Nothing above average except for the service. The cashier was so courteous, patient, and helpful with our limited German language knowledge. It's a small food shop with limited indoor seats and limited outdoor seating.

It's a very non-descript place with limited seating and only 2 woks to cook everything. While the wait can get long these ladies crank our some food! I've eaten most everything on the menu and have yet to have a bad meal. However, the number 10 is a dish that I always crave and when I'm not in Nuremberg I dream about being back there for it. It's run by people who know their food and who are super friendly. The owner often times sits at the table right by the counter/kitchen and is so well known that it's almost like seeing a celebrity. She knows all the locals and greets them when they're in. Come for the food and stay for the atmosphere. It's a real gem so definitely give it a look. P.S. if you sit inside be prepared to be pepper bombed. When they cook the spicy food you almost get smoked out by the spice in the air especially in the winter when the door is closed.

This is McDonald's, not a classy 5 star restaurant!…read more I'm not so sure what people actually expect (given the low ratings), but compared to other McD's,the food is not so bad at all, it's mostly fresh and if you follow a few tips, you're food will be even fresher. #1 - if it is anything to do with chicken, your food will be fresh anyways - only patty burgers, e.g. hamburgers, cheeseburgers, etc. are made in advance #2 - if you chose one of the burgers with a patty, make a special request. For instance, say you want the hamburger without pickles - they will have to make it from scratch, meaning that you will get a nice and fresh burger, as opposed to the ones that have been held warm for 10 minutes or so. #3 - if the fries are stale or too salty, go back and ask for fresh ones. Unless it's in the middle of the night, there will always be fresh fries, you might have to wait for a 2-3 minutes, but it's worth it. I used to work at a fast food restaurant long ago, so trust me, these things really work ;) The staff is usually unable to cope with many people or special requests, and the turnover is amazingly high. Prices are the way the usually are, relatively cheap, and the location itself is rather big and clean(except for the toilets..). If the place is to crowded, you can also sit upstairs, which is a lot nicer! It is an old building (used to be the post office back in the day), looking fantastic from the outside, and not too bad on the inside either. The best part about this McD, however, is the McCafé. Plenty of comfortable chairs and not as busy and loud as the rest of the restaurant, you can get various things from coffee over juices and smoothies to cakes and cookies. If no one is there to serve you, just wave to the restaurant staff and let them know you are there, you'll be served right away. Bottom line: * Plenty of space to sit * Food is better than most McDonald's * There are ways to make sure your food is fresh * Staff is not trained properly * Relatively clean (just don't use the bathroom) * For a McD, this is pretty alright
