I've tried out plenty of takeaways in Birmingham, but I've seen few shops as cheap as DFC, which has an extensive £1 menu, serving nuggets, donner burgers, chicken wings, and a number of other takeaway favourites, with chips, for just one quid. They also do a big lunchbox for 3.00 (i think) that consists of mini fish, chips and a sauase with choice of sauces/pea etc. They also do breakfasts and toasted sandwiches which have only recently been introcuced but seem to have gone down really well. They have also this week introduced rotesserie chicken, which i have not tried as yet - but have heard are great. There home made fishcakes also are amazing, they are so nice and worth that extra 20p. The queues can be out of the door on certain nights, but the staff are very efficent and they get to you quite quickly.
