IF I HEAR ANY DRAKE, RIHANNA, OR LMFAO SONG AGAIN IMMA GO CRAZY! What do you know I did and went loco and changed the station without hesitation (That rhymed!). Just hearing only them (add in Nicki Minaj) is my vision of hell. I understand you have to play them but so frequently? It seems like every time I tune to the station it's one of the three. Thank God for options such as IPod and other radio stations because then you'd have to put this audiophile into an insane asylum! This isn't LA (at least where I'm at) where you have a variety of radio stations to choose from if you're not into country. Please play more of the older (late 80's-early 2000's) yet more real Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B in your regular rotation and less of the aforementioned "artists"! Thank you! read more

I was happy with this station - when it was Comedy. According to Wikipedia, they changed format on 08/04/14, no longer Comedy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KFNY Now it it Saturday, 08/16/14 about 5:15pm. Glen Beck is talking about Israel and was discussing Israeli intelligence. When relating to farms and fields, he said kibitz instead of kibbutz. Kibitz means joking. Kibbutz is an agricultural community. Big difference. Kinda of like soup and soap. Or cat and catapult. Turns up the heat at the IE When I'm at the IE, I listen to KGGI and even when I'm back at the South Bay the reception is still good. Growing up at the IE, KGGI was always at the clubs promoting and blasting the best music. read more

I have much love for this radio station. The DJs love their listeners and really treat them as family. Plus it feels like a hometown station rather than other stations in LA who center everything they do around Hollywood or downtown LA. Plus you can win tickets on their website, which is so much better than always having to be caller 9 or whatever. read more
