The staff made us feel like they had known us for years even though it was the first time ever meeting them. Clean facility. Extremely organized. They even have a waiting area for the parents if you don't want to sit inside the training area. I watched for about 10mins of the lesson and then went to the waiting area and got some work done. By the way, the 30min lesson, taught/coached by an instructor who, at the minimum, played at the collegiate level, cost us $35. I didn't feel this was cost prohibitive considering two other places i checked were, at a minimum, $5 more expensive AND the persons i spoke with seemed a bit snooty. Oh! And they don't just cater to male athletes. There just as many female athletes there getting instruction and working out; absolutely excellent to see that happening. If you are into baseball/softball, this just may be the place to bring your child for good, professional, reasonably priced instruction.

Yoga is something that just makes you feel good inside and out and when you find the right studio that is increased 10 fold. Whether you are looking for a place to just pop in for a class once in a while or while traveling or a place to become part of your routine, this studio will fit your needs. There are classes for all levels and interests and an amazing variety of teaching styles all with wonderfully unique personalities. Because of this, there is a warm and inviting atmosphere that I believe is created due to that amazing group of teachers and also students. There are always amazing and exciting workshops that go further into yoga but also sometimes workshops more "parallel to" that bring in other interesting subjects that so many of us find fascinating. My daughter really wanted to paly soccer this spring and we did not sign up initially as she was trying out for her school team. Well, she did not make it and of course we missed sign ups- by 1 month (insert bad mommy for not planning). I called all the local programs, clubs and the Y. The YMCA was the only one willing to let her sign up late and play- and they were able to place her on a team she has been with for years!! The sports director was super understanding, replied promptly to my emails and they just made our spring! This right here is why we are Y members and participate in all their programs!
