I…read moreused to teach two year olds in preschool and I know how hard it is for an establishment to keep the numbers at the state standards. We have had THE BEST experience with the Goddard School. I enrolled my son in the infant classroom when he was around 9 months old. The growth and learning my child saw within the first month was unbelievable! He was doing baby sign language to tell us he wanted "more" milk, or food before he could even crawl. It was amazing. The dedication each of the teachers has for each child is unlike any other I have ever seen. We stayed with them until he was 1 when we ran into some financial issues. This school is pretty pricey, but it's worth every cent. They worked with me to try and keep us there, and I wish we could have stayed. Unfortunately, I had to take him out for almost a year. It was very sad. Then life went back up again and we were able to take him back to school part time. They remembered his name, my name, my husbands name, and even the cars we drove. Diane and Josh are so super nice, and just overall good people. Ms. Jasmine is too (My son LOVES her). Going back was a relief. I never worried about him being okay, and they always kept the lines of communication open to us. Ms. Liza and Ms. Quinn were amazing and got my son back up to speed in no time. My son is two now and potty training in Ms. Debbie and Ms. Jessica's classroom. They have been nothing but supportive and have always been there to answer any questions I may have in terms of what's normal behavior, how he is advancing, and just to giggle about the silly things he does. He even speaks spanish now too! Every day I receive a report that breaks down the different things they have done that day and what part of development it's for. They also break down how much lunch he ate, how long he napped, and his potty habits. There is even a little section where they write a sweet little moment my child had during the day: "Today (child) had so much fun kicking the soccer ball to his friends! He kept on yelling go team go!" Honestly, it's the best school in the area. I wouldn't dream of taking my child anywhere else. He's excited to go to school. He's excited to learn. He doesn't cry when we get there, he was immediately comfortable when taking him back after the break. I am so thankful for The Goddard School and what they have done for me and my family. All of the teachers there are amazing and so good with each age group. We are lucky to have a school like this!

From the moment we first visited, we felt a genuine sense of warmth and professionalism from the staff. The teachers are not only kind and attentive, but also incredibly knowledgeable about early childhood development and the Montessori approach. They take the time to understand each child's unique personality and learning style, and it really shows in how Luca is growing. Since starting at Discover Montessori, we've seen so much progress in Luca's language skills, independence, and confidence. He comes home excited to share what he's learned and is always eager to go back the next day--which says a lot! We love how the environment encourages hands-on learning, problem-solving, and collaboration, all while allowing the children to explore at their own pace. The school communicates well with parents and creates a strong sense of community. They send daily pictures and updates and we always feel informed and involved in Luca's day-to-day learning. Smaller classes help with more one on one teaching and learning! The staff is great! All are very welcoming! They offer Spanish and art as well for extracurricular which is fantastic because my kids are now learning to be fluent in Spanish. All teachers have their own wonderful ways of teaching our babies. THIS PLACE RUINED MY LIFE! In 2016, i was a 18 year old…read moresenior at this school. Shortly before finals my bus driver reported to administration that i smelled like cigarettes apparently. So upon arriving at school i was yanked off the bus before all the other kids and brought into the office where i was subsequently searched like a criminal. After nothing was found they still proceeded to suspend me for 10 days (during finals). It wasn't until THE DAY OF finals i got a call from the school asking me to come in to take the tests which i couldn't do because i had no way of getting there. 4 weeks before school ended they called me into the office and informed me i wasn't going to be graduating and when i asked about summer school or anyway to obtain enough credits i was told they didn't offer that and i would need to figure it out myself. Long story short this cost me my diploma. I never walked the stage or went to Prom. Im still not sure how it's even legal to suspend a legal age adult for just smelling like cigarettes! I didn't even bring a lighter or any paraphernalia onto school property! Do yourself and your child big favor and don't let them go to the school. Between the unprofessional teachers and administration and the gang activity I'd highly recommend you stay far away from this place. If they don't like you, they will find a reason to make you fail. I've been haunted by this place ever since I went there. And I was honestly shocked to see that they are still in operation. This place should be shut down. It has ruined mine and so many others lives. Because of what they did to me, I was forced to get a GED fat in certain states is not even recognized even though it is an accredited program. So I can't even work in a prison as a correctional officer or even be a lowlife mall cop. Thanks Palmetto for ruining my life.
