I've been bringing my daughters to this location over 2 years now. On 5/5/23 I took all three of my daughters for a trim. Not realizing that my daughter's hair was not cut straight I called back on Monday 5/8 to book an appointment for 5/10 for 4:45pm Well, if you are from the area, you would know that there was a severe weather warning so I called to cancel because it started pouring right before 4pm Brenda let me know that because it was ALMOST over a week from my original appointment that their haircuts are only guaranteed for a week which honestly doesn't make sense It's a business dedicated to cutting children's hair, and in severe weather, you expect me to take my children all under the age of five out in a thunderstorm I also asked if I could be scheduled for the next day This place has officially lost my business ‍ I would recommend that if you want better service for the money you are paying you go somewhere else read more

This place was adorable. Took a little one in to fix her self butchered haircut when she happened to find her dad's scissors and give herself a trim. The gal that cut her hair was very patient and sweet. She had bright red hair and I cannot recall her name at the moment. She trimmed her hair and let us check it out. We were going to do a pixie cut but both the hair stylist and myself agreed to trim it more and let it look like a punk rock style. It worked out perfectly. Good think because I wonder if the little one would have hated short hair, it definitely would have been a lesson not to touch things on the counter again. The red haired magician offered to cut my family members hair (and my hair) for $15ish. We went for it. It'd be nice to cut off split ends and feel like a princess. We didn't get shampoo or the Queen deluxe treatment but a water spray down. I don't think she realized my family member had nice fine/easy hair to deal with. My hair is the opposite, I have very thick and very obnoxious "do whatever I want" strands. She kept having to spray it down and work her magic. She trimmed off a little which is what I wanted - just the dead ends. Then based off my request, went with long layers. I can tell she works with kids because it wasn't a normal adult haircut. Normal razoring to thin my hair out wasn't done. My hair in the front wasn't angled or frayed to my face to make my hair look like it has volume. Really my haircut was a 2.5 stars. I wasn't happy with it, but I wasn't dissatisfied. More neutral and on the fence. I wish I had gone elsewhere. However I am very thankful that she fixed the little ones hair and she had an experience that didn't traumatize her for the future. That's what gives this 4 stars. read more

The lady that cut my kid's hair is terrible with toddlers. She didn't give him heads up or anything and instantly started shaving his head which caused him to freak out. Then she kept blaming him for everything instead of trying to calm him down. She even blamed him for moving when she took a chunk of his hair off when she switched clippers to a much louder one. Then said she could either leave it, or try to blend it. Really?!!!?!??!?? She was clearly in a rush instead of trying to make it a good experience. She actually did a decent job on the haircut, which is why I gave an extra star, but I'll not be coming back. Then to top it, I asked if they had military pricing, she said no, only for actual service members getting the haircut. I have a 2.5-year-old son, and we have always loved Kiddie Kutters for his haircuts. The stylists are *fast*. He was just over a year when we first got his haircut and if you know toddlers, you know they aren't exactly the apotheosis of patience. The stylists at Kiddie Kutters know this well and can get a cut done in near record time. They have a nice, clean waiting area filled with toys. A tip: if you don't want to wait, go in the morning on a weekday! They're less busy and you'll be in and out in no time! read more

So we went since we are new in town and just was trying it. Worst decision ever. My son has had a comb over for about a year and never had a problem and just was really growing it out to look nice. Well the lady that did this completely messed it up. So even though we do a comb over it's never consistent of always putting gel in it but have never had a problem with that. Yet this time when it was straight over his face it was crooked. When we took him back she blamed other people even though she did it and then didn't even still get it straight. The first day we went it no one was there so she had time to do it right. I will say the second time we went it was crazy!! I wouldn't have stayed if we weren't trying to get it fixed. Definitely for kids but like no organization. They didn't even have a list which is nuts with like 10 or more kids running around. I just would never go back it was overwhelming. This place felt like chaos starting with the call. I live pretty close so as I was getting ready to leave I called to ask what the current wait time was. Whoever answered was rude her tone was voice was very unprofessional. We headed down anyway to give it a try. We got to the shop walked in, one of the stylist ask how many, and I told them just one. She didn't even know how many people were ahead of us. Her words were I think there 2 or maybe 3 people ahead of you. Okay, not a big deal they have an awesome waiting room with tons of toys to keep the kids entertained. When it was our turn she walked over, asked if we were next and I double checked with the others waiting they didn't get their first. As we walked over my son got upset (first hair cut) and told me he was scared and didn't want a hair cut. Instead of reassuring him or even speaking to him the stylist just stood by her chair rolled her eyes, and looked PISSED. Why on earth would I want someone with an attitude like that to cut my sons hair. We walked out after that. I couldn't believe she didn't even try to show him it was okay. She literally didn't do anything! Very unimpressed with the lack of professionalism and compassion in a kid focused establishment. read more

This place is terrible. They have absolutely no qualms with asking personal questions, no decorum. They are supposed to be friendly with kids but the lady who cut my son's hair approached him like an unhappy diesel mechanic, not trying to calm him and laughing an mocking him when he became scared of the clippers. Overall a negative experience that was punctuated by unprofessional attitude. We shall not be returning. read more

Worst experience. We will not be back. The lady answering the phone is so unprofessional. Unfortunately the same girl cut my daughters hair. She spent maybe 5 minutes on her hair. There was a loyal customer that walked in as she started her cut. She rushed thru it so fast that we were in the car within 10 minutes. There were many strands uneven. I asked her to even out her hair. She said that's the best she could do unless I wanted her to shave the back. I also asked her to do something with her bangs. She said that wouldn't be even if I gave her bangs. I was so irritated when I left. I worked on my daughters hair for 3 days to see if I could get it even. No luck. Called & talked to the same unprofessional person. She said someone else could do her hair which I was glad. We went in & they were not busy. Another lady, a lot more professional than the other, looked at her hair & said it was even. When I pointed to certain spots she saw what I saw. She spent a lot of time with us & asked us exactly what we wanted & it looks amazing now. I wish I knew their names so I could tell you who to go to & who not to go to. read more

We went once and it was fine. The stylist was quick and got the job done. However, being child-specific, I expected more personalized care and attention towards my toddler to make it an easier experience but our stylist was not very personable. I would go back in a time crunch since we live close by, but I will probably make the effort to go somewhere else where the experience is made more special for my toddler. read more

Brenda is very rude. This is the 2nd time we've come here and both times she's been very rude. We made appointments the day before for both our kids. We got there about 20 mins early and when we walked in she immediately says "do you have an appointment". Not hello, how are you? Or how can I help you? We told her yes we had appointments. She asked for the names and I gave them to her and she told us our appointments weren't at that time and she had someone else coming before us. I asked if we could wait inside and she told us no. Very rude and her tone was nasty. So we went back out to our car and I wanted to just leave and take my business elsewhere but we leave for vacation tomorrow and we really needed to get this done otherwise I would have never given this place my time or money. So we went back in at the appointment time and again no greeting just told us to sanitize our hands at the door. She tried to smooth over her rudely telling us to wait outside by stating her last appointment usually brings his 3 kids and they need a place to sit but he ended up not coming with his kids. Which still makes no sense and it's really rude to tell your customers they can't wait inside. When she took my first kid she wasn't friendly to him (he even said she was not nice and doesn't want to come back here). She was quick and the haircuts weren't great, just good enough because I had no other option today but I will never come here again. She was the same with my second child, not friendly, has no good customer service, not kid friendly at all. Doesn't speak to the kids, ask them about their day, nothing. Straight face, in a rush to get them done and out the door. Even once she was done with the haircuts she didn't tell either of the kids to have a good day or anything. As I paid her she still wasn't friendly, no small talk nothing just straight face rushing to get me out. I never do this but I decided to confront her so I did. I told her how rude I felt she was being both this time and the time before. She immediately got defensive never once apologizing. She even tried to tell me it was because of covid we couldn't wait inside but that's not what she said only moments before with the whole story about her appointment before normally coming with three kids and them needing a place to sit. Also we've been to two other Kiddie Kutters here in the springs and they never tell us to wait outside. Every single person in the other two stores are always friendly and good with the kids. This is the only one I've ever been to where I've seen this behavior. Brenda is rude and has no customer service at all. She has a bad attitude especially when she's called out. She even told me to leave because I told her I wouldn't be coming back to this one ever again. She removed her mask once she got upset and was arguing with me about the facts I stated of her rudeness. This is the worst costumer service I've ever experienced. I've never dealt with an issue where someone doesn't apologize when a complaint is being made. This place is awesome. My son as autism and haircuts use to be a dreadful experience. However, we tried this place out and Elaine was incredible. She was very quick and extremely understanding of our situation! We will be coming here again! Both of my kids received great looking cuts. read more
