I can tell you now that it's not the same. I dropped her off Monday morning at 8:45 to a playground with 100 kids. I didn't get to meet her camp counselor, and I was not able to enter the school due to Covid. I was okay with that, and nervous at the same time but again, I had attended there as a kid for several summers and my daughter has been in school since she was 2yo. She is friendly and delightful child so I thought I was making the right decision. By 9:30 am I was getting a call while at work. The director called me and told me that my daughter was having a rough morning, and trying to adjust. We picked her up early. The next day I called around 1pm and they said "they hadn't heard anything, so she must be fine." Thursday morning we dropped her off at 8:45, before my husband could make it to work, we were receiving a call saying that she was crying, and we need to pick her up right away and that this would HAVE to be her last day. The director told me that she didn't have the staff or the time to accommodate my child. They had 3 teachers to several 3 & 4 year olds. As a mother I was distraught. I couldn't believe that they had through my thrown my 4 yo out of summer camp. I wrote this to say that I am very disappointed in what this school has become. Also, I feel as if they didn't have the staff, why would they take on more than they could handle? So if your child needs special accommodations, or more attention than the average child. This is not the school because they clearly don't have the time. If I could have given zero stars I would have. I sent my daughter here with the intentions of her attending the school for kindergarten, but that won't happen. They made my child feel little, and they made me feel horrible as a parent.

Perks of Goddard: - Every teacher has a college degree - Your child will be in or around six months of his age, like my daughter is in a 3 - 3 1/2 room and she is almost 3 1/2. This is a huge factor to consider, not only will your child be learning everything they should at this milestone, they will be with there peers in the same age group all day long, you don't get this at any other childcare facility much less public school system setting. This is where your child will grow and thrive because they aren't stuck in a group of kids that range from a few months old to 5. - Structure - i can't say enough about how structure makes a huge attitude adjustment and just a good flow for your kiddo. Having a daily schedule and it being the same is a great routine for anyone even if your 30 or 80! - Nutrition - they have a monthly planner you can get and it will let you know exactly what your kid is eating daily. - Activities - there is a weekly themed activity. I remember one in particular such as learning about fire and what not, and they actually had a firetruck come out for a day for the kiddos to see. - Therapies - If your child has any sort of therapies that need addressed, you can have your own therapist come in at anytime and provide therapy for your child, they usually have a space that they can go to to provide care. These are just what I can think of at the moment! This place is beyond amazing...if you even just tour it you will not want to go anywhere else. If its even within or more than $100 of your budgeted amount...you should cut off a luxury item and give your kid some top notch care. There are so many good things I have to say about this school, and oh yes I will go on, But if i miss anything I am truley sorry! lets start with the falcutly, they ROCK!, every morning they are always happy to see us and aowyn is just as excited to see them. I swear during interviews, morning person, must be a requirment! Always friendly and always there to help in anyway possible!! The school is very clean and rooms are always in order. somehow even rooms occupied with kids and the kids playing there isn't a mess to be found! I need to figure out how they do it! the playground and area to play outside seems just like the perfect amount of space and equipment! nothing cluttered, and there is ample amount of room to get the kids stretch out there legs. The price is very affordable, It can seem on the high end, but these are people who actually TEACH your child things, not just have them in their home for the day. Before that, she stayed home full-time until age two and was very much a "stage 5 Velcro baby." The transition was emotional at first, especially at drop-off, but the growth we've seen since then has been incredibly encouraging. She now confidently gives hugs goodbye, happily says "bye-bye," and walks into her classroom with ease. She genuinely enjoys school and is happy during pick-up, which gives us peace of mind. There have been a few instances where we needed to remind staff to clean our child's face, hands, or nose after meals or messy play, as well as change her into clean clothes when needed. Parents are asked to provide at least two sets of weather-appropriate spare clothes for this purpose, and on occasion, changes were not made as promptly as we would have preferred. There have also been times when personal items were misplaced. That said, staff consistently communicated with us, made genuine efforts to locate items, and worked to improve. We understand that managing multiple toddlers and their belongings is a common challenge in any preschool setting. What matters to us is that concerns are taken seriously and addressed, which has been our overall experience here. Leadership has been a major strength. More than once, it happened outside on their concrete playground, and the teacher was unable to tell me what happened. I took my concerns about her adjustment to the director, who kind of blew me off and directed me back to her teachers. They also didn't do anything academically structured in terms of learning letters, shapes, colors, etc. We switched and LOVE our new place. With that said, some bonuses - the teachers in our room were good people who try hard at a difficult job. Some of the staff there are great. I also think the coming together of cultures here is special and hard to find anywhere else. So I would say this place could be great for some kids, just not for us in particular.
