Then when they sent me to camp bullis, they all paraded around the ONLY man in the school. Another little high school party. In the end thank god I didn't get the position I honestly didn't even want it. I'm just annoyed of the time they made me waist and since yelp is open for opinions I decided to leave mine. On top of the SAD hourly pay $13 an hour haha I would never want to be apart of this grown adult high school culture. Our daughter didn't come here for long and since they're now closed, I'm a little heart broken. The ladies we're all wonderful and clearly cared about the children. Evangeline, the manager, doted on our daughter and that kind of love keeps you coming back. Our precious daycare lied about changing our daughter's diaper consistently, the amount of food she was eating, etc. So you can imagine how relieved I was when I was told our daughter wasn't eating as much as I had been told before (but suspected was a lie). Not only that we heard what she was doing during the day and it was clear that she was enjoying herself. I appreciated the stories and seeing how happy she was each day. Sadly, the pandemic has really hit businesses and Little Explorers has to close their door. If they ever open again though, this is a staff I would trust with your little one.

Teachers are dedicated. The curriculum is challenging and the family-like environment fosters life-long friends and memories. This is the best Montessori experience in San Antonio. It is a great balance of cost and programming. I cannot say enough good things about this school. Mount Sacred Heart also offers traditional Pre-K instruction and, obviously, feeds into the associated Catholic school, grades 1-8. I don't know much about that part since the Montessori is separate. The children don't wear uniforms and those in Pre-K do not attend mass.The children do have some religious education, but I asked a lot of questions and am very comfortable with it. It has led to interesting conversation at my house as we're not at all religious. Since it is attached to a school, there is the option to participate in CYO (Catholic Youth Organization, I think?) activities. Essentially, it's after school sports. The community is great and the teachers/staff are kind and friendly. Don't waste time and money like I did. Just go take a tour of the school.
