I can not speak highly enough of Allison Kierman. She and her paralegal, Viki, were a breath of fresh air after a previous experience with a different firm. In short, my dad needed some basic revisions done on his estate plan after my mom died. Before we started working with Allison, we had wasted almost an entire year working with a different firm that created a confusing, complicated, and expensive mess. The longer they drew out the process, the more money my dad had to pay and there was never any end in sight. After working with perhaps the worst type of attorneys, we found Allison. She is as professional, knowledgeable and honest as she appears in the interviews found on her website. Within a half an hour of meeting her, she proposed a plan that my dad was comfortable with and did so in a way that made sense. She had prepared in advance, answered our questions, and made sure that the new plan was in line with his wishes. She did all this while treating him kindly and with respect. Most of all, she LISTENED to us. She gave us the revised, completed documents within one week which are thorough and understandable. Finally, it must be said that her office provides a pricing list so that clients have an idea of what they might be paying, and her fee was extremely reasonable and justified. This was not the case with the previous attorneys who wanted an open-ended fund with no sensible accountability as to what services they were actually providing. It can be stressful to put something as important as estate planning into the hands of someone that you don't know. But, Allison Kierman is the real deal and my family knows this from experience.
