I'm not from this area but it's my go to Thai place in Burbank right by my friend's house. My favorite is the pad woon sen. The interior is super cute like a boba or matcha place! Parking is easy. There is plenty of street parking right out front. There are about 7 tables and the employees are so friendly!

Weeping Tiger (ribeye) - most of it was unedible... more fat than actual meat

I ordered one of their specialty dishes - Weeping Tiger (ribeye). Most of it was unedible. What I could eat of the meat was tasty and I know ribeye is a fattier cut of meat but this was a terrible cut, mostly fat. I let the waiter know and showed him that most of if my dish was unedible, but all he did was say he'll tell the chef and there was no effort to fix the problem or even offer a discount even though I couldn't eat half my dish. $25 for something I could barely eat and i had to pay extra for a side of rice even though the menu said it came with rice.

This is one of my go-to spots for Thai food in Burbank. They used to go under a different name so I hadn't ordered from here for a while, but it's still great. The staff members are always super sweet too. Although they don't have a huge area for seating, it's not usually packed here and I love the little trinkets and lights they decorate the place with. Street parking isn't too bad either. I ordered the panang curry. You can choose your own spice level and the coconut milk definitely helps balance the spice. Although the curry comes with rice, keep in mind that this is only enough rice for about half the portion of the curry, so I would order an extra side of rice.

Delicious food and quick service! I enjoy taking my coworkers here whenever we have an extended lunch break. There are a few tables inside to dine in. Their Thai iced tea is one of my favorites! Lunch specials are available. Street parking only.

We got a Tom Yum noodle soup and spicy basil fried rice! The Tom Yum was perfectly spicy, but if you can't take the heat, you can lower it to a mild level. The overall ambiance is cozy and when we arrived on a weeknight, it was surprisingly packed. Service is quick, and the server is friendly. read more

The pumpkin curry is really good, the service is friendly and quick, and the parking is even pretty decent (it's on the less crazy side of Magnolia Park). Very clean, smaller space but they've got a little outside seating set up too. Good lunch place! read more

Yummy! Ordered the roti, papaya salad, pad thai with shrimp, khao soi noodles, and thai tea. Portions were bigger than what we're used to from other thai places in LA! Textures were all really great, perfectly cooked and fresh. Overall the flavors were more muted than we prefer, but for the average clientele in the area I think it will be flavorful. Such a great little Thai mom-and-pop spot in Burbank. The place is small, but the atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the care the owners put into the food and the experience. Everything we tried was delicioufrom the food to the drinks and desserts. The flavors tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were satisfying. It's the kind of place where you want to keep coming back to try more things on the menu. We love this cute, quaint little Thai restaurant in our neighborhood. The food is so yummy, light and just delicious the restaurant is small and every time we eat there it's just so good. You know it's freshly made and has not been sitting around for days. It can get busy because it literally has 5 tables so have patience because there is only one waiter for takeouts and sit down. This is my new favorite Thai spot in Burbank. Every dish is amazingly flavorful. They put lots of veggies and meat in their dishes. The chicken is never dry or bland. Medium spicy is pretty spicy for "American spicy". Perfect for me. I tried the roti with dip, pad Thai, khao Soi Chiang-mai, pad kee mao drunken noodles and eggplant basil stir fry. Everything was absolutely delicious. No notes. I've never had khao Soi Chiang-mai but it's my new favorite dish. I love this place!!! read more

We love a good mom n pop Thai restaurant!!! I've only gotten takeout from this place, as the restaurant itself is very small and only has indoor seating, but their Khao soi is where it's at. The soup is hearty, flavorful, and the noodles were plentiful. This place leans spicy, just an FYI! I got mine with no spice (because I have reflux hahaha) and it still had a bit of a kick! But just the right amount! They also have all the classic Thai dishes, so you can't really go wrong with your order. Really great for a cozy night in. read more

I've been to this Thai restaurant a few times and each time, I order something different and also wonder why don't I come back more often? Khao Soi is delicious, as are any of their stir-fry dishes. Love their ample soups and grilled meats. This is a pretty good Thai restaurant outside of Thai town and Van Nuys/NoHo. Looking forward to trying more things! When half the table is eating and the other half has to wait around a half hour to eat, it really is a terrible experience. I also had to go up to the counter to request a check and had to go to the counter again to pay, otherwise we might still be waiting for them to figure it out. And charging an 18% "service fee" for a party of six, when you provide such poor service, is incredibly disrespectful. It's no wonder we were ignored, because the server knew she was going to get 18% regardless.

The food is fresh, delicious, and flavorful. The service is always great and it's very easy to get curbside pickup. My absolute favorite dish here is the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. I've never had it this good anywhere else. Great flavors, with just the right amount of spice! I also usually get the Chicken Satay and their peanut sauce is delicious! The soups are also great, especially the Tom Kha. I'm also a big fan of their curries, especially the Yellow Curry. Anything you order here you just can't go wrong! Siam Smile is the best Thai restaurant in Burbank for sure. It's my favorite Thai restaurant period but certainly in Burbank. The food is awesome and their specials are on point. I pretty much always order the lunch or dinner special, depending on when I'm there. Lunch: For $6.95 (M-F until 3) with egg fried rice, tofu soup and two fried wontons of either chicken, beef, pork or tofu. The beef and pork are my two favorites. Dinner: $9.95 that gets you the same but with an egg roll and slightly bigger servings. If you don't want a preplanned meal I highly recommend the: the pad thai noodles, spicy bamboo, shrimp and scallops or the pineapple curry. All of these dishes are A+'s and oh so good. Very easy to miss unless you are looking but they stay open all day (you know how some restaurants close at 3 to 5? hello- not all of us have 12:00 lunches) and their peanut sauce is great. I would just eat the peanut sauce if I didnt like their other options. They have a killer lunch menu till 3:30pm- $4.50 for an entree!!! Panang and veggie curry are my faves. The food arrives a few minutes later, then a group of 4 people walked in, but all of the tables were taken, so in the middle of my meal while i was eating the waitress asked me if i could change tables to the smaller table so they accommodate a bunch of strangers. Then i was moved outside in the sun with some idiot smoking near me. I was very annoyed by this, those people could have waited just like i had to, but i guess a few cheap plates of food are more important than a potential life time customer.
