Outlets in Ireland haven't been up to much in the past, but Kildare Village is a super shopping experience. It's like a village from Desperate Housewives with white picket fences everywhere and big brand names for smaller prices than we're used to. The shopping is good. They've got lots of housey shops, high street women's fashion like Reiss, All Saints etc, boys stuff like Ralph Lauren and North Face and lots more besides. Great for wedding presents or new home owners. Also good if you like your labels but don't want the cost. There are some shops here that aren't anywhere else like Cath Kidston and Jack & Wills. I much prefer walking around the village to a shopping centre, but it's not for everyone. Be warned, you must be in the mood for shopping to have any effect here. Only down side for me is that there aren't enough eateries around (just Starbucks and L'Officina).

Yelp 100 Challenge 2019 - #64/100 The first store we went to was Kath Kitson's, the feminine, flowery stuff is not really my style. I did find some breakaway lanyards that I can definitely use for my work ID. Then we checked out Kipling. It is pricier than the stuff that I can get Stateside but the designs here are a lot more exciting. Spent most of our time in Super Dry and found some good deals. Then took a coffee break at Starbucks then continued with our shopping spree. Found the cutest coat at Joules. The workers in each store were super friendly and helpful. Their toilets were nice, clean, and well-maintained. There was enough parking spots. read more

I ambled around this seriously over-priced place for about half an hour. When the pound to euro ratio was near one forty it was still overpriced, and now its only ten per cent then it has almost zero attraction for me. I walked by an on - street doughnut & coffee cart and their idea of a deal for a coffee and doughnut was €5. I'm pleased to say that my money stayed in my pocket. I also priced a sweet/savoury crepe stall but again their cheapest sweet crepe offering was about €5 with savoury more expensive. No chance; I have no intention of handing over five euro for fifteen cents worth of pancake batter and yes I know some sugar and stuff will be added but even with that, the mark-up is eye watering and I simply refuse to be ripped off. Still I was determined to see if someone could entice me to spend money and I came across a Thai street food place and while it was near noon and devoid of customers the smell of cooking oil invaded the area. So that was enough to persuade me to keep walking. The place is very well kept and their little flower displays and some of their art and sculpture are pretty indeed. I departed with the same amount of money as I arrived with. My wife of course well that's a whole other story. read more
During our recent visit to Ireland, we got the suggestion to visit this shopping center. We of course came during a busy time of the year, but we were still able to get parking. Prior to coming we looked up the directory online to figure out what stores we wanted to go to. The stores were neat and clean and there were some good bargains. I noticed the best deals were stores that were local brands. This outlet shopping center is much like the ones back home for us (in the US) but it's also a great place to find local bargain gifts. There are quite a few food options. The resteraunt we went to was one of the more expensive ones and it was supposed to be Italian- the food was quite bad. My fiancé and I barely touched our food. The only decent thing we had was the minestrone soup. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I am rating the shopping center as a whole (which includes the resteraunt). read more

I had a lovely day shopping in Kildare Village today as always. Would highly recommend their Valet service also. I cannot thank the service desk and the security staff member, Ritchie enough for their help when I encountered trouble with my car there today. read more

Really love this shopping center but the COVID-19 has put a big toll on the shops here queuing is a given these days and some outlets like Nike can have 2 hr waiting on a good day still on a lovely sunny day a lovely place to just wander around and access these shops must be said that patience is a must and hopefully things will soon be back to normal so shopping can be enjoyable again on normal shopping I would easily give this a 4 star rating but not now read more
Have to agree with Peter it really needs a sandwich shop of some sort. The restaurant is beautiful but sometimes you just want a quick inexpensive bite and the lines out of starbucks are ridiculous. They have added some new stores since the last time, DKNY being one. You still can find some really great designer discounts but they are frugal with their offerings. Sometimes the shop staff can be aloof... I get that it's designer brand mecca but that does not mean you suddenly can be snobby to me. Let's do a little refresher here: * I have the money. * I will spend my money if I see something I like. * I will return and spend more cash if you are polite and helpful to me. * Just because I don't dress up to shop does not mean I don't have lots of cash to drop. * Just because she is wearing loads of brands does not mean that she is not drowning in debt. * Don't judge! read more
Kildare Village is absolutely beautiful. It mimics Woodbury Commons in the States, and on a good day with nice weather, you could swear you're not in the back arse of nowhere (Kildare ;)). With a great range of designer stores here, you're bound to get a good deal on some truly desirable brands. Sometimes you can even find products that may have been discontinued by the brands and therefore can only be purchased from the likes of these outlet stores! Kildare Village has several coffee shops and two restaurants, all of which are decent enough to keep you going for your day out of shopping. Be sure to ask for a discount if buying, as some sales assistants can be willing to give an extra 10% off goods, which is always a sweet deal!! read more
Unfortunately this place is clinging on to the Celtic Tiger dream (so five years ago). The deals available are not great and there is not much in the way of places to eat (€4 for a tiny coffee out of a paper cup...tut tut tut). Go to Bambridge outlet instead, much better value on offer, even in the same stores. read more
Don't go on a wet and gray day... This isn't California or Italy! Don't go if you're looking for shoes... Not enough options. Do go if you've got a pretty penny to spend... Lots of high-end shops. Do go if it's an usually nice day in Ireland... That's what an outdoor shopping experience is all about! read more
I do like this place but really its because one I live within 20 minutes of it as realistically it can be so hit and miss. Ive been there many times and found absolutely nothing and been here also and found great things that I love. Id be sorry though if I traveled really far and found nothing. It outside and in bad weather is miserable as you get drenched and frozen to get to each individual store. There is only one restaurant and also a Starbucks not a restaurant in my mind but these often have a queue down and around the corner and yes standing in the wind and rain. I Bring comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella, this is outside. Even more exposed there is a coffee/crepe place but its outside facing the car park so when I say exposed................. All in all Ive gotten some good stuff here but like I said sometimes my experience was miserable and parking is a problem. read more
"We're going to Kildare Village after the match - do you want to come?" "No" Pause. "Scratch that, I will" I was at a loose end and my dislike for shopping has meant that my wardrobe was in dire need of replenishing. The problem with Kildare Village - though it's just the nature of the beats rather than anything specifically related to Kildare Village - is that you can go one day and find everything you want. Another day, there's absolutely nothing you want. But you can't fault the prices! I also like the fact that despite the car park being full, it doesn't feel packed when you're there. It's as if half the people that went there disappeared into the ether on their way from the car. Maybe it's just me but there could be a little more variety in the type of shops but as someone who avoids shopping like the plague, this place is pretty good. read more
This was my first visit to Kildare Village to be honest I wasn't overly impressed the selection of clothing and accessories the shops had to offer. I thought the village itself was quite cool and it was really well kept. I noticed that the village offered a vallet service which is quite cool but we were more than capable of parking the car ourselves. There was hundreds of different shops, such as, Ted Baker, French Connection, Fossil, Pandora, Links of London, Jack Willis, Superdry, Mulberry, Ralph Lauren and much much more. You would think that with this many shops you are going to find a few things you like but I never purchased on single thing. I felt that items being sold were stock from 1-2 years ago that never sold and the people buying it were simply paying for the designer label. Although I have to say that the staff in each shop were friendly and welcoming, we were greeted by shop assistants advising us of discounts/offers that they had on that day. Most shops offered extra discount if you bought two items or more or if you spent over a certain amount. I also thought that the village could do with a few more cafes/restaurants - there was only one cafe, one restaurant and a Starbucks. read more

Best to get here early. There is a big car park but it fills up fast. There are good brands here-mulberry, Jaeger, Barbour, Calvin Klein. The best value is probably found at Clark's shoes or the cooking shop (can't remember the name). I like frying pans and teflon too much! I found the staff are very friendly. Helpful and offer opinions but are not pushing sales. There are sometimes "secret" discount coupons so check their twitter or sign up to their emails. There is a really busy Starbucks and an Italian restaurant. I saw they do gluten free pasta and have a good few vegetarian options highlighted. Oh and there is a crepe stall too. The set up is nice with cute "streets" and lots of benches so you don't feel like you're wasting your day inside a mammoth shopping mall. There is a shuttle bus to the town centre and a number of coach's link the Village with Dublin, limerick and other places. I think it is very well organised and a good place to go every so often (start of each season perhaps) to get some good deals. read more
I was truly dreading the prospect of a day of shopping here. There is no word in "Kildare Village Outlet Shopping" that doesn't make me die a little inside. So I'm even more surprised that I'm looking forward to my next visit. I was expecting the place to be full of the remnants of the Celtic Tiger: bedraggled horsie-set members and former property tycoons scrabbling in the dirt for tacky designer labels. Actually, that was only like 15% of the trip, tops. A lot of the shops stock stuff I like. I got to nerd out with the running gear at the Nike, Asics and Reebok units. There's a good Superdry store, with better stock than I was expecting. The Le Creuset cookware shop is my sort of shop too (in terms of stock, not price). Those looking for something to eat while wandering the Stepford-style layout of the village will be disappointed though. There's a Starbucks, an Italian place run by Dunne & Crescenzi and a crêpe wagon. That's it, no more. All in all though, the shopping experience was a good one. Wandering around a little artificial village certainly feels a lot nicer than a hermetically sealed shopping centre. read more

Its like a ghost town there now. Everything seems to be closed or closing. I think with the death of the Celtic Tiger, this place has very little chance of survival, unless they make it into a mart/farmers market type centre....lol I would not wish any place to close down, even this place as it really is/was a fantastic shopping centre with some really good outlets. By the way, I was there on a week day so maybe all the farmers come there at the weekend. I will never go there again, they wasted my time as far as I was concerned. read more
Similar to everyone else, I enjoy the different brands and the discounts you can get but I was a little disappointed with the limited discounts offered. It is nice to get free parking though and the outlet is compact and easy to get around. It could indeed do with some kind of cheap and cheerful eatery, although I don't think it is likely. Unfortnately, although I like this outlet, I would be more inclined to go to the outlet in Banbridge. It doesn't carry as many designer shops, however, I think there is much better discounts and I would be more likely to come home with more bags from there than Kildare. read more
Great choice of shops here and they're currently expanding but this review is just for Lulu Guinness. I was given a wallet for Christmas in 2013 but the zip broke. I had no receipt as it was a gift. They knew it was a known issue and replaced it for me with no issue in November 2014. Unfortunately a couple of weeks the zip on the replacement purse broke about a week ago. I had no receipt but after I called them they told me to call down. They searched for the transaction as I had no receipt and because they had none of those purses left they offered me something else or a full refund. I chose another purse and they refunded me the difference in cash. A very unique customer service experience. read more
So I finally made it here. In preparation I checked their website which shops are currently there and compared it with the list of things I needed. It was a Friday evening in January so it was cold and windy going from one shop to the next but also it was busy but not overcrowded. Parking was busy but I had no problem finding a space. I manged to basically stick to my list of things - just got an additional pair of shoes. They were actually needed but I usually struggle to find shoes my size in Ireland so didn't expect to find any. So a pleasant surprise. I'd say it's especially good for sports gear. I was lucky in the Nike shop getting a jacket to protect me against rain and wind for €24.50 when the recommended retail price was €100. So you need to be a bit lucky too but I haven't enjoyed going shopping that much in a long time. I needed a bite to eat and went to L'Officina Dunne & Crescenzi. I got a fright when I saw the prices for the ready made sandwiches and two guys in front of me left because of that. But I was hungry and in a hurry so took one and a drink anyhow. Turns out they seemed to have a special offer for that as the total was far less than expected. But they could've advertised that better. So I'm happy to know where it is, that it's not completly on my doorstep in Dublin but also not too far away. read more

"We have to bring the dog... he'll be lonely at home.." I look at my wife with no small amount of incredulity, she leaves me at home all the time and worries not one bit whether I am lonely or not. Nevertheless we pack up dog and child and duly arrive in kildare village. Wifey runs off to do what ever last min Christmas shopping needs to be done while I wander around with dog and child. I am stopped within 5 mins to informed by security that dogs are not allowed on the campus BUT that there are kennels provided free of charge if I would like to avail of them. "Like!?" I nearly kissed him full on the mouth and dry humped his leg.... it got a little awkward after that so I followed his instructions and went to the tourist information office where they sorted me out with a kennel in about 3 mins. Brilliant service and well worth knowing about! read more

Coming from a BF which rates scratching my behind higher than shopping this review can pretty much be summed up by following trail of thoughts. "Ohh mother of...! How did I end up here... Shoot me, please. Put me out of my misery. How do I get out of this cattle track filled mindless-mugglers shopping? Please let this end." 2 hours later and 30 Euros poorer due to an overpriced waffle and watery coffee (#CoffeeSnop) - we can escape in the car. Thank god we did not have to go by bus... read more
Lots of very expensive shop. Good discount. I put 100 euro on my card. That would not get you very far. Every unit is occupied which is great. Compared to the Outlet at Bambridge or Junction One at Antrim. Thought these shops in Kildare are in a whole different league. I got a Barbour dress reduced from £120 to £26. It's a great set up. All outdoor in like wee hansel and grettle style houses. Was very cold and windy. Wrap up warm. Was good that they had several food places. Though there is also a Tesco and Costa beside it. Great parking. read more

Finally got to visit here this weekend and overall I really liked it! We got the coach from Dublin at 1pm, ran into some traffic and got there a little after 2pm, which still left us plenty of shopping time until the coach home at 5.30pm. While I wouldn't rate it for women's everyday clothing, everything else for sale was brilliant, my boyfriend snagged a pair of Levi's for €50, and there were lots of other bargains along the same lines. The staff in each store was attentive but not overbearing and seemed knowledgeable about their stock, answering our questions about a smart watch we were looking to purchase with ease. Very impressed. I went looking for a handbag as a gift and there was a great selection of stores, to suit all budgets - from Kurt Geiger and Orla Kiely to Prada and Mulberry. The stores are spacious and relaxed and a pleasure to browse in. The only downside I can think of is the lack of casual food areas to grab something quick to eat - there are 2 restaurants which are quite expensive, a Chinese street food stall which has a very limited menu, and a Starbucks. Easily remedied by grabbing something before you go though! I will definitely be going back to do my Christmas shopping here, the relaxed atmosphere will make a nice change and there are some beautiful pieces to be had! read more
OK. I am the last person in the world who should ever write a review of a shopping village or outlet shopping place. Suffice to say, I am not really a big fan but at least you know where I stand on them upfront. I've made two trips so far, once in early Jan and once in May and I have to say that it's well worth a look (this is influenced by my rather more enthusiastic shopping partner's opinion). Really good selection of shops, decent prices and a nice layout (plus plenty of parking) make it a fine place to go bargain hunting. It feels a little like a village and because it's outdoors, you don't feel like you're effectively in a shopping centre. For blokes into fashion there is (what I imagine to be) a good selection and good bargains. Some negatives however-- there is a woeful lack of places to eat, especially if you just want a snack or a sandwich. It is crying out for an O'Brien's or deli of some description or a cafe-- the queues at the Starbucks should really move someone to action on this but I guess they have some kind of exclusive deal on coffee vending there. For blokes not into fashion, it is a desert-- no music, book, electronics or hardware stores, just Nike and Reebok stores. If you enjoy browsing, worth a trip. If you don't and have a particular thing you need to buy and you're on a budget, worth a trip. If you don't like browsing clothes shops and you don't have something in particular to get, well, what the hell are you doing in an outlet village really? read more
Good variety of shops at outlet prices.. Everything is at least 33% cheaper than on the high street. Although it is outlet I would suggest to come here with the intention of spending €€€ . there are two restaurant (one French, one Italian) and two coffee shops. The new Gucci boutique is amazing value and All Saints have some incredible reductions. If you're here at the right time of the year you'll get some great bargains! read more
Alright. Car parking attendants aside I have to compliment Pandora and Lu Lu Guinness they are excellent. The staff are so nice and genuine and not the fake we want your business kind. I've been coming here since it opened, and it keeps improving all the time. Plenty of parking and stewards as soon as you drive in. They've recently expanded but have yet to fill all of the units! I saw a homeless man bathing in the fountain and a bunch of 5 year olds stole my ballpoint pen. I went to the Levi store and a woman posing as a worker stole my actual DKNY jeans whilst I was trying on outfits. I decided to go to Starbucks to recover but upon arriving there an angsty teenager split their skinny mocha semi skimmed latte all over my Gucci jumper then lectured me about gender appropriation. Although from an outside perspective one would think it was bad day, I actually enjoyed it because my husband finally signed our divorce papers and I'm now off to Malaga to meet jose my Spanish Tinder date #vivelasmalaga read more

I visited KV at the weekend, had a lovely time except for my visit to Hobbs, I've never given a bad review in my life but the sales assistant was what I can only describe as utterly rude, taking my details for the VIP newsletter I gave the lady my name and my mums email as I'm leaving the country soon, my mum has a different second name to me and she looked at me like I was making it up. Paused for a few seconds and said "right" really sarcastically. Never felt so bad after parting with my money. Ran out of the shop, never to return. read more

the village is quite nice but the merchandise is not very interesting and the deals not very good. anyways, if you are coming from dublin city centre, beware of the advertised 'Kildare Village Shopping Express coach service' which is a coach operated by JJ Kavanagh and sons directly to the village. I bought the 12 euro return ticket and went there in the afternoon. then, i was planning to take the last scheduled coach back to the city but it didn't stop!! because the Village closes the gates after 19:00 even though the coach is scheduled to arrive at 19:50. so i was stranded. There is no way you can know this because it is not mentioned at the coach stop. After repeated emails and calls to the kildare village, i still haven't received an explanation. - UPDATE: after a couple of weeks, i received an answer and they seem to be taking the complaint seriously and doing something to prevent it from happening again, and also sent me a nice gift card! read more
Awful car parking situation here. They are currently in the middle of extending the shopping area and I hope they sort out the traffic a bit better. Having been to numerous outlets around the world, this place looks the same.... BUT someone forgot to mention to the architects that we are in Ireland. The sun rarely shines....rain is one of our most annoying visitors and we get howling winds alot! The designers of this place made no allowances for the local Irish weather when constructing Kildare village. It needs a roof or some wind breakers at the very least. The worst shops are Ted Baker and Ralph Lauren....an absolute disgrace in terms of brand management....clothes thrown everywhere and not a staff member in site cleaning. The next time the UK and Ireland management team from these brands jets across the water from their pristine London offices they should really pay attention to the state of their shops. read more

A regular in Kildare village, can find everything I need. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience in one of my usual shops, Musto just after Christmas. Foul mouthed male staff member using multiple curse words when chatting to another staff member, rude and ignorant manager, staff members huddled together chatting at the till one of whom I was informed by another member was the store supervisor. I left without purchasing anything and don't plan on going back there. As if that wasn't bad enough I then had a very similar experience in All Saints. I will continue to go to Kildare Village as it is such a lovely place to spend the day, however these two shops have lost a regular customer. It is a shame that these shops have affected Kildare village as a whole. read more
