Pulled pork was okayish, the brisket was DRY as cardboard and the ribs were waaaaay over cooked. The house bbq sauce was yucky. The potato salad and Killy's coleslaw were good though. We were traveling, staying at a nearby hotel and thought we would check this out. We were confused at first because we were expecting a pub, however inside it is more like a deli with a partitioned off bar. No problem we went down the line and ordered some pulled pork. We asked the cashier if we could pay for our food and eat in the pub. She was very nice and said sure, however; when we tried to go into the pub the waitress there VERY aggressively told us we were not allowed to eat in the pub unless we ordered in there. Needless to say we ate our food in the food hall area and then went to the neighboring liquor store and bought a six pack instead. Thanks to the bar waitress we will never go back. We just wanted a nice chill meal after a long drive, instead we were scolded as though we had broken the law. read more

Adequate BBQ. A bit of an odd concept where food is sold deli style by weight even if you're doing in. There is no condiment bar for BBQ sauce. Of the three types of ribs we liked the Carolina mustard the best. Brisket was fairly tough and dry. Lilly's Cole Slaw is refreshingly light. read more

I wrote the same review for the Killys Irish pub Yelp page. But figured I would post here as well: Stopped here on our way through town. The building set up was a little confusing. They had a deli counter (including a Chester's chicken), a pub, and a self seating area. They all serve the same food but the pub also serves alcohol. We stopped in for the BBQ which seems strange for a place called an Irish Pub. Again just adding to our confusion. Once we figured out how to order food things were good. Some items were bland while others were really good. One of the staff members seemed annoyed with us because we didn't know what was going on. So that was not great. But all of that aside it was a nice place to stop for a bite to eat. read more

It was a little different entrance, liquor store, Irish pub, deli and smokehouse and butcher shop I walked to the counter and ordered (table service in pub), and ordered smoked chicken and 2 sides. The skin was a tad tough but very good flavor as well as a large bird! The location was fun and food good. They have brisket, ribs, prime, fried chicken, wy honeys, you name it!! We arrived to Sheridan hungry, and we left Killy's satisfied! The restaurant provided a wide assortment and variety to choose from. Most of the people in our party got their much anticipated food, with the exception of one member, who left without his desired bangers and mash. Went on a road trip from Chicago to Seattle. Stopped here outside of Yellowstone. The ribs we had (ground pepper on them, pinkish from smoke) were some of the best ribs I've had. Somewhere between jerky flavor and rib flavor, a little chewy on the burnt/dry outside, and fatty enough on the inside. Get them. The potato salad is just good standard potato salad. I had some other salads which were exotic to me. Snickers apple salad, which is pretty much as it sounds with some kind of fallen whipped topping as binder. Pistachio salad which is google-able and I wouldn't necessarily recommend. I also got some bison jerky which was labeled as made in the store, it was on the soft/wet side of jerk. I ate way too much too fast. It was great. The supermarket area (warehouse something) is a big supermarket with a few specialty items. The smell hits you as soon as you step out of your car! We had a surprise birthday party catered by Killy's right there in the deli. The food was fantastic, they did all the setup and take down so that was awesome. The extra service Susan supplied us with was unexpected and very welcome (also needed). My husband, daughter and I just came from Killy's Pub/Smokehouse/Deli. What a disappointing experience! We had heard ads for this place on the local radio station. They were raving about the food and what a great eating experience it is. I realize they are paid to say these things, but it couldn't be further from the truth. We chose to sit in the pub so we could get service. Haha! Don;t believe it. The bartender was our 'server.' He took our drink order (2 iced teas and a Diet Pepsi), and brought them to us. Their menu is the tiniest one I've ever seen. My husband had to get up and go to the deli to order his fried chicken and bring it back to the table. I couldn't find anything on the menu I wanted so, I just ordered a club sandwich (for $11.00!), and my daughter ordered the shepherd's pie. She said they use frozen, half-cooked veggies in it. In addition, the bartender never once asked us if we would like more to drink. He had a pitcher of iced tea on the bar and we had to go refill our own glasses. If you're going to advertise as a sit-down restaurant, you better have a wait staff, a menu worth offering and GOOD food. We won't go back. read more

Killy's in the past (3years ago) had good fried chicken. When they became the "New Killy's" the chicken seasonings seemed to be cut in at least 1/2. We tried it again 2 weeks ago and it seemed the we're using spices again. We went tonight and it was once again it was barely seasoned. Won't be going back. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Fourth time we have tried KILLY'S since their whole new business plan.....last time we will try KILLY'S pub or Smokhouse. Too bad they didn't stay a grocery store and smokehouse deli. It seems like everytime we go in there is either rude employees or a yelling match between a pub worker and smokehouse worker. The food that you used to get from KILLY'S was solid, now not so much. Their kitchen help looks like a bunch of tweakers making all your food. That isn't really what I want my children to see. service was solid, and restaurant was solid. On one of my orders I ordered the "famous Wyoming Beans" well, make sure you're getting what you asked for. The guy who helped me ended up giving me their hot beans which I do not care for. When I complained to the manager ( a little black hair woman who was chewing gum) she said, "Well maybe if you ordered correctly or spoke up my worker would have to guess what you wanted in your meal. Sorry...." She wouldn't even give me the other salad. A few months ago we tried it everyone raved about there sandwiches. I hey we're made over in the corner of the deli at that time..... Wow they were good the short little lady sure knows how to cook them ( where or where did she go). Now my sandwich had been cold when I get it. The first time we went in all you could smell was the old chicken grease smell. We talked to the owner about that and she said, they didn't have the hood in yet so it made it smell..... I understood that. Now they have had the hood since end of marchish 2017 and it still smells like burning oil. GROSS! It is a little expensive there, my sandwich, side, and drink came to about $13. Oh and let me remind you if you sit on the smokehouse side you won't be served.... It is not full service. The last two and only times we have gone too the Irish pub, we have had the same bartender, I think she's from New Jersey or something I'm not sure though because she never really spoke much to us. We sat down in the pub and looked at their menu, decided what we wanted and that bartender, never came over we waited for a few minutes because she looked busy. I then walked up to the bar and asked if we were going to be served...... Big mistake. She looked at me and said when I get to you I'll get to you I'm busy making other drinks. I was kind of amazed that they let a bartender talk like that to customers. She finally​ came over and in her accent..... What are yous two having? I ordered speedgoat a local beer, and before I even finished saying speedgoat she cut me off and said well we don't have that you'll need to drink something different. I cannot see myself ever coming back because of service and how rude I have been treated there, also the price, combined with long wait time, kind of seals it for me. They also have a 3rd business in this KILLY'S, it is their liquor store. KILLY'S spirits and ale. Now it is the complete opposite of what the other side is. Every person who works in the liquor store is friendly and loves to talk to you about beer, wine, liquor, or even just how your day is going. I think the liquor store people need to train the other workers how to have customer service..... Anytime I have a question about anything, being it alcohol content on beer what type of wine goes with something, the staff there at Killys spirits and ale either knows the answer or they Google it and get me my answer right away. They make me feel welcome and that is part of this business I will still do business with. read more

I get take out here all the time. The have smoked meats that are fantastic, three kinds of ribs, chicken, brisket, short ribs. They have a daily lunch special with two sides, if you come in at noon you'll see a lot of people off for lunch who want something better than the normal fast food fare. Some of the lunch specials are great, all are at least decent. My only disappointment is that I only like a few of the salads, but then again that could just be me The place is nearly always busy is attached to Pub, so if you want a brew with lunch this could be the ticket. We stopped by for lunch after reading positive reviews, thinking that it might be nice to pick up a sandwich and a nice deli salad for a quick lunch on the road. We found that this isn't really a deli (they don't make sandwiches), but a counter with some BBQ and a few sides. OK, we thought, we'll pick up some beef brisket, bread, and some sides. The person helping us, who seemed baffled by our request for a BBQ beef sandwich, seemed equally perplexed when I asked that she give us a pound of brisket sliced for sandwiches. What we wound up with were 1/2 inch thick slabs of not very moist meat. No BBQ sauce was offered, though we were give some packets of mustard and ketchup, perhaps to fashion our own BBQ sauce? So, food not worth the trouble, and the increasing rudeness of the counter help, who seemed confused by the notion of customer service, made this a wholly unsatisfactory stop. Go elsewhere! read more
