Worst doctors experience ever. They made me wait an hour to even fill out patient paperwork nevermind actually being called. I had to leave due to such a horrible experience. The staff is absolutely horrible. Front desk has no clue what is going on. The doctor seems like she's 100 years old with no idea whats going on in her office anymore. Let me cut right to it. My family and I have been going to Dr. Kim (Milford walk in) for over 20 years. Overall she is a very nice person and doctor. However the office and the employees are another story. Most are interns that come and go. Let me say that the relationship you think you have with your physician can quickly be ruined especially when you have an issue or question. This happened to me today. I simply called and spoke to Wendy about a couple of office visits. Some of these visits were less then 3min. I perfectly understand insurance but requested to speak with Dr. Kim on a issue. When that happens it turns into money not the relationship. Wendy quickly got back on the phone and stated she spoke to Dr. Kim and she said unfortunately she cannot do anything. All I wanted was a quick chat. In conclusion look for at least a more up to date,private,professional office. I never really felt any of these factors until I was treated like a number today and not a 20+ year patient. I will never return to this office. read more

I feel as though dr Kim is my primary care doctor although she is really urgent care. She has been doing this for quite some time and I have been in for a variety of things, sure h as a twisted ankle and bronchitis. Recently I was coughing and hacking and my actual family doctor wouldn't give me antibiotics because she said it was " viral" . I was so sick one evening that I went in to see dr Kim and she gave me an antibiotic and would you know that 24 hrs later I was much better. My husband goes in when he hurts himself I his workshop, which is often. He has gotten splints and sutures and once, a tetanus shot. Dr Kim is pretty good at coming up with a quick solution to everyday minor " emergencies. Sometimes it is necessary to wait when she gets backed up. If you are having a heart attack or have been stabbed or shot go to the hospital, but for many things dr Kim is the ticket. read more

Had an ear infection. Prescribed antibiotic, steroid and ointment. 3rd day had bloating, diarrhea and stomach pain. Told me to stop all meds and take double dose of probiotics and call back after half hour. Called back and doctor was busy and said I'd get a call back. Been more than 24 hours now and NO CALL BACK. Having withdrawal symptoms from just stopping steroid as per the pharmacist! Professional. UPDATE - still NO FOLLOW UP!!! read more

If you are at all like me with an anxiety associated with going to the doctor, you must see Dr. Kim. I only recently came to town and ended up with a severe ear and sinus infections. I waited only a matter of minutes in the waiting room, filled out a reasonable information form (No, they didn't ask if I was president of my third grade class), and was politely ushered in to see the doctor. She was thorough in both her questioning as well as her explaining of the issues and options. I went home with a record 5 medications, all of which I am determined to take. The WORST doctor I've ever been to in my life. She has no idea what she is doing. She basically took a ton-load of blood tests and then told me to go to the emergency room. Then the emergency room people told me (after I spent another WAD of cash going there) that there was ZERO reason she should have sent me to the emergency room. WORST even still, she did the same thing to my husband. Meaning, both of us spent loads of $$$ we didn't have to go the emergency room and then told by the staff there that there was no reason for us to be there. She is a worthless waste as a doctor and worst yet, puts honest people in the poor house. I have no idea how this nightmare doctor is still allowed to practice medicine when she doesn't help in any way and she actually causes problems... read more

Dr. Kin is the kind of doctor we all grew up with before specialists and insurance rules the world. She sees you without an appointment, treats you, and only sends you to a specialist if necessary and calls you the next couple of days to see how you are (yeah, she was the first to do that in Milford). I don't think the Milford Hospital walk in has ever treated me. They either sent me to the ER or told me to make an appointment with my primary. read more

My insurance Company recommended I try Dr. Kim for I was really ill and needed a doctor to see me quickly. I was a little skeptical about the whole walk in clinic, maybe lack of attention you can get. BOY, was I wrong. I was able to see the Dr. on Saturday morning, she performed all the tests in her office, diagnosed me correctly and cured me of all my pains in a short amount of time. But best of all..Was her compassion. Plus she has called me 3 times (including Sunday) to see if my fever was down, how I was feeling and for reports on the tests. I would recommend Dr. Kim to anyone looking for a fantastic doctor. The walk in clinic turned out to be a plus when you are sick.. We are so lucky to have her in Milford! read more

Dr. Kim is a real, old school doctor. Knowledgeable and accurate, every time I've seen Dr. Kim she's quickly and accurately ascertained my malady before guiding me down the path to recovery. I have seen Dr Kim since I was in fourth grade for the few visits my mother would bring me to the walk in for. That would be well over 20 years. She is currently my general practitioner. And she has been, diagnostically, the best damn physician I have ever seen. If you need to take antibiotics you know she'll be calling you at 9pm at night to make sure you took them. And you also know you're not the only one she's calling. She will know what's wrong with you before you walk out the door that day and she will also double check results from other doctors and tell you to get the tests done with a different one if she doesn't think the first test results were satisfactory to what she thought they should be...and you know what? She's probably right. She's the best damn doctor Milford or even connecticut has ever seen. She cares about her patients. And she has a few hundred of them. But she cares for each and every one them each day. My grandma gets a call from dr Kim each day Monday through Friday (and sometimes Saturday). Without fail. She will work 9am until 4pm each day and calls all her patients until 9pm at night. She is a super woman. That's all. read more
