She is extremely talented at enhancing someone's natural beauty. All of us (my maid of honor, mom, mother-in-law and sisters-in-law) looked amazing! The makeup looked natural and everything stayed on perfectly all night. When I showed up to my trial, she was so prepared and had created a mood board of sorts, to help identify what colors and look I wanted. She listened to what I was looking for and made adjustments on the fly. To top it off, she is also one of the sweetest people ever with such a genuine personality! She was so easy to talk to. I don't live in San Diego (we were just there for the wedding), but I hope that I have an excuse to get my makeup done in San Diego again, so I can use Kimm!

I found Kimm and emailed her asking if she was comfortable with oily skin and she immediately responded stating she knew how to work with all skin types. I trusted her response and booked my trial. I'm so happy I did! From beginning to end she listened to what I wanted and used products that suited my skin type. She mentioned each step and how it will work for me. She was extremely kind and made sure my Maid of Honor was welcomed and comfortable during the trial. After Kimm finished, immediately I looked over to my Maid of Honor and we gave each other that look and I knew she will be my artist for my Wedding Day! I loved Kimm so much that I contacted her again to do my makeup for a wedding that I was attending. She of course did amazing work once again! I want to mention during each time I emailed Kimm she promptly responded each time. My wedding day came and she was there on time with an additional artist to accommodate the time I needed to be done. Again beautiful work! My mom loved her makeup! Kimm made it fun and all the bridesmaids loved her! When I sat down I knew I was in great hands. The previous day I made my own touch up bag to use during the wedding because I was afraid my makeup wouldn't last during photos and the ceremony but I'm being completely honest I DID NOT HAVE TO USE IT ONCE. After reviewing their packages and browsing their website and Instagram pages, I knew I had to get in touch with Call Me Beautiful. Immediately after reaching out for an inquiry, Lauren (owner) emailed me and we went back and forth with my vision and what I was looking for. Responsiveness is key to me and Lauren was always timely with her replies. I was looking for a hair and make up team from same company...a one stop shop for services. Unfortunately, no CMB make-up artists were available on my wedding day (6/11/16). Lauren was very understanding about my desire for a hair and make up duo. Although she would be able to deliver on one of my needs for services, she did not push at all. I really loved and appreciated Lauren's honesty and easygoing personality and set up a hair trial. My best friend (matron of honor) accompanied me to my appointment and right from the start, Lauren welcomed us and made us feel very comfortable. I was introduced to my stylist, Tara who was very sweet and easy to talk to. During the trial, I showed pictures of what I was looking for and Tara delivered on my vision. Leaving the trial, I was beyond happy with the outcome of my hair and looked even more forward to my wedding day... Fast forward two and a half months and it is my wedding day. The day before my wedding, I decided to change my hairstyle a bit. Was a little nervous since my trial hair was different, but Tara did her thing. While doing my hair, she would ask questions and also give recommendations. Final product was better than my original vision and better than the picture I showed her. Thank you Tara for glamming me and my girls up on the most important day of my life. We all LOVED our hairstyles and my husband did as well Booking Process: This was by far the easiest transaction with all of my vendors. After letting Lauren know how many girls needed their hair done, she sent over a timeline and contract. Upon booking, 20% is due and the remainder of payment is due one month before wedding. Venmo (electronic payment method similar to PayPal) requests were sent by Lauren, which made the transactions super easy. Quick click and payment was deducted from my account and processed. The contracts also already include gratuity charge, which makes things so much easier. I ended up adding two girls after final payment was made and Lauren revised the timeline and again sent over a Venmo request. So easy and seamless! The timeline was perfectly set. My photographer wanted myself and bridal party all done by 1 PM. Lauren noted this and constructed my timeline accordingly. Lauren... I can't thank you enough for all of your help on my wedding day and for linking me and my girls up with Tara. We enjoyed her company and were BEYOND satisfied with our hairstyles. The first bridesmaid had a 6:00 AM appointment and when our event concluded at 11:00 PM, our hairstyles were still intact...all of us. If you are looking for a professional and honest business along with an easy and seamless process when booking hair and/or make-up services, Call Me Beautiful has my vote. Thank you again ladies...
