A couple years ago my fiance and I were both in other relationships and looking back at the pictures of previous failed relationships also made me wary. I thought we were doomed to take awkward, cheesy, stupid pictures that only exist for burning. Both of those factors together made me question my sanity when I booked an engagement session with Liz, the photographer for Edelweiss. I should not have worried at all. Before the actual shoot, Liz worked with me to figure out places within the city that would look great in photographs and were personally meaningful. She also suggested we bring our dog, which made her life more difficult, I am sure, but made our pictures more personal. I am pretty sure that most photographers aren't willing to try taking pictures in a bar with a dog for the sake of their client's whim! The potential for disaster was definitely there. Even with all those complications and challenges, Liz stayed professional enough to move the shoot along and fun enough to get my fiance and I laughing like crazy. The results were amazing! Liz provided us with digital copies of 25 unique photos (edited in different ways, so we actually have closer to 150 pictures total, if that makes sense) and I am mildly ashamed of how long I have spent looking at them. She also turned them around in just a few days, which was impressive. Less waiting for me! Based on my previous experiences I can say this was both the best value in terms of service and actual, usable pictures for the money. I can't recommend Liz enough!

There are millions of photographers out there so choosing one was difficult, but we were immediately drawn to their artistic, bold style and easy-going personalities. Their prices also can't be beat! We planned to take our engagement photos at Kemah and on the day of, Stephanie called to let us know that the park was packed. It was so helpful that they went to the site earlier to scout out the area and then helped us to come up with a plan 2. This was our first time getting our photos taken and needless to say, we were so so awkward. Stephanie and Bradley made us feel more comfortable and would demonstrate the poses together which helped us have a better visual of what we should be doing. Fast forward to the wedding day, they handled our crazy group and guests like pros. There were groups running up to take photos with us or asking them to take their photos using their iPhones.
