Not a single person was at the office. I've been to the Shavertown office and Mountaintop, both were dirty, run down, and smelled foul. At the Shavertown office it felt like there was no heat, I froze while waiting for my appointment in the waiting room. It is ALWAYS a long wait, appointments never run on time. All this office has done is increase my anxiety and add serious medications to my life that aren't being monitored. I missed an appointment that was scheduled months in advance (never got a reminder call) and then never received a call asking to reschedule or ANYTHING. I have heard NOTHING from them. The most unprofessional doctor's office I have ever experienced. I am not exaggerating, if you need any sort of psychiatric/counseling services, do NOT seek them here. You will regret it.

Hi. I was a patient at First Hospital who was 302'd, that means I was an involuntary admittance for…read morea psychotic episode. I was violent and had to be restrained twice in the first 3 days. i ended up staying for 16 days, with the first few days being very rough for me mentally. I can honestly say that I am completely greatful for the treatment I received there. The staff, especially those who restrained me were absolutely professional. I was not hurt at all even while being restrained by 12 people. They were truly experts at their jobs. After my stay I left feeling like myself again. I want to thank Dr. Asif for working closely with me on my medication plan, helping me with not only my schizophrenia but also my anxiety and depression. I also want to thank all the nurses, therapists, food preppers, cleaning staff, techs and security (one of which I bit during a psychotic episode, sorry about that :/) who are very underappreciated for the work they do, and helped me 24/7, going out of their way many times to help me. Even after my schizophrenic episodes the staff did nothing but make me feel protected, being friendly and making me feel like I was a valuable member of society again. I apologize for the long ramble but the guys and gals at this hospital deserve respect and acknowledgement for the work they do. I am getting my life back because of them, and I have nothing but love, respect and admiration for what they do. I wish the hospital was better funded, added more healing activities like sports and was more taken of financially by the state government. Without this help I could have been hurt or even worse, I could have died. So thank you to all of the staff for making my stay a very productive and healthy one. RUN FROM THIS PLACE and "BEWARE"…read more Dr king is extremely unprofessional and makes you think she cares.She discloses personal information in sessions about her and her life, makes u think she's your friend And bullshits with you Spending half the sessions talking about herSelf. she will write you prescriptions And if your not doing well you won't hear back from anyone...If your on a controlled substance don't expect them to be filled On time and not fill them till days after your due If your lucky... so you have to suffer and withdrawal off your medication. Sleepless nights days of hell... You can call and call and no one will return it or answer you.I don't know how there is any quality of care for anyone it's more like a assembly line. This is one of the fakest doctors I think I have ever met and yes she is heartless to say the least she say's she is there for you but when you need dr king or her staff there is no help your turned away, I am lucky I'm still alive today after dealing with the center for holistic and intergrative mental health. Patient Beware: my mother was a patient for over 10 years. This summer she had to help me with my…read morekids because I had shoulder surgery. My mother called Dr. Sperazza's office and explained the situation, explained she would not be able to make her appointment since I live 4 hours away. First, doctor would refill her scripts so that she could get through the 2 months she needed to stay and help me, second doctors office insisted she attend her scheduled appointment. After my mom told them there was no way, they scheduled her for earlier this week. When my mom had my dad drive her the 45plus minutes to get to her office, the doctor would not see my mother and had her staff tell my mom she was being discharged as her patient do to non-compliance. She would not even refill her medicines to hold her over until she could get in with another doctor. My mother has never missed an appointment like that and this is how she treats her patience. Do not go to this doctor, she clearly does not care for her patience.
