I would definitely come back for this burrito. Definitely. They also have a Taco Tuesday deal that I am itching to try! $1 Kogi tacos tho. RHK's food is on the heavier side of my own arbitrary Scale of Heavy Foods, so it's a perfect place to share a plate or two. This place is one of the few things I miss about Riverside. I went back recently after 2 years (I've been going since they were called Red Hot Kitchen) and I'm so happy to say that Kimchichanga is still better than ever. Decided to give this place another chance. I ordered extra meat and sour cream and it was even less than the last time!! They're so stingy with everything. They don't even melt the cheese on top of the chimichanga anymore. Just goes to show how bad or lazy the cook is. Disgusting. Prices are still too high and the qualities bad. Came here after moving my brother into his apartment, and this place was delicious and just what we needed! The kimchi fried rice was delicious and authentic, very flavorful. The salad was fresh, filling, and flavorful as well. The burrito was incredible, with multifaceted flavor profiles. All items were incredible, and I'm excited to visit again! If it's Friday night you'll find us here. My husband and I are regulars. We've had just about everything on the menu. All great, but we have our favorites. I always get bulgogi as my protein. The bulgogi is THE BEST I've had on the mainland. It is spot on. He loves the spicy chicken. All of their salsas, sauces and marinades are made from scratch in house. They even make their own kimchi. I LOVE their green salsa with is Korean sesame flavor. Ed loves the red salsa with its gochujang notes. The margaritas are delicious. This father and sons' restaurant is fantastic. My friends ordered the Kimchichanga which was very delicious. I wish it had more kim chi flavor to it, but it had a great taste, texture, and crunch. Make you come hungry because they give a good portion. Since it was fried, it left me feeling very bloated after I ordered a torta with bulgogi and it was very delicious. Tortas are my go to dish whenever I eat Mexican food and to have bulgogi in it made it very amazing. The bulgogi itself really did not taste authentic Korean at all, but more like "Asian style meat." However, it was a really good torta that stood out from other tortas I have tried. One note if you order the Horchata is that it comes out of a dispenser machine where you can see it individually shoot out water and flavoring. It came out bland and watered out and is probably the worst horchata I have ever had. Honestly though, I would not hesitate to come back for that food! read more

Heads up, the burrito is smaller compared to most places and $10 but I'd say it's still worth it because yes it's that good. Also they're jalapeño poppers are delicious but they don't travel well. Arrived during happy hour but there was only one other couple there and it took the waiter 10 minutes to seat my husband and I. Took him another 10 minutes to take our order even though we were basically ready once we sat down because it's a small menu selection. Once he finally took our order we asked for a few items and one item off the happy hour menu which he refused to take because it was 2 minutes past happy hour at that point, even though we arrived 20min prior. Discovered Kimchichanga back in 2017. It's a fusion of Korean bbq and Mexican food. At first I thought that was a weird food combo, but I was totally wrong! Came back in 2019 and happy to see that the food quality is still the same. Great Korean flavors added to traditional type Mexican dishes. I've had the kimichangas in the past and those are really tasty. This time I went with the nachos covered in Bulgogi beef. Wow! How could I not check out a place that pairs kimchi with chimichanga! After all it's just so much fun to say chimichanga! And kimchichanga? Well it's fun but confusing, I still loved the name. Ok, who knows what TV show the line "it's fun to say chimichanga" comes from? Come on, don't be shy! Ok, on to the review! Kimchichanga is located in what seems to be an old Denny's or similar, as it definitely has a diner feel to it. The decor has of course been redone, but the architecture is hard to hide. My wife and I ordered up a kimchichanga, an order of four tacos, and some fries. The kimchichanga was cool looking when it arrived as it was cut into fourths so it presented kinda like sushi rolls. Do you think they planned that? I'm guessing so. The kimchichanga and tacos were actually quite good. We stuck with bulgogi (beef) for the kimchichanga and two of the tacos, and chicken for the other two. The chicken was kinda boring, although in fairness we didn't order the spicy chicken. Maybe next time... The bulgogi was really tasty, both in the kimchichanga as well as in the tacos. We only ordered the standard fries, which were ok. Nothing great but average french fries. We were really disappointed that the short rib tacos were no longer available. We had seen them mentioned on Yelp but they no longer serve them. Especially after a recent awesome short rib meal, we were looking forward to them. Kimchichanga was pretty darn good and we would eat here again. I am not sure I would ever think, "Oh my god, I have to go to kimchichanga!" but next time I am in the area and hungry I will stop in. Looked up this Korean fusion spot for Taco Tuesday and came rushing over. Come before the lunch rush because the lines get crazy long for Taco Tuesdays! I came and got the spicy pork and galbi tacos, and HAD to try the chimchanga because of the photos. Yes, it was too much food but the chimichangas made a nice leftover snack. The tacos were solid. Very flavorful and the meat taste managed to come through for each taco, which is impressive since most people eat tacos not knowing what meat is what. Each taco was about 2-3 bites, which I think is a great size - although I didn't eat the extra tortilla. The chimichangas are essentially burritos, but are deep fried to have a soft outer shell.
