She makes sure her clients are comfortable, and she is so lovely to talk to. I'm a student, and she gave me a table so that I could read and take notes while I got my hair done. She has a lot of experience working in the beauty industry. She walks you through everything and makes sure the clients understand her thought process, which I definitely appreciated when getting a treatment that would be such a big change. My hair is easy, so I put no effort in to my hair except to wash it and then let it air dry. I am always wanting a low maintenance cut that looks Good. Kim delivered. Ask for Marty for a haircut, she's the bomb! She's this adorable Korean woman who gives excellent cuts (just $25 for men!). I'm very picky and specific about my hair, and she always follows my instructions exactly. If you're not sure about what you want, she's also very creative and gives good suggestions. Not only is she a skilled hair stylist who is pleasant to be around, she also cuts my hair in an amazingly short amount of time without sacrificing any quality. My experience with her was very disappointing as she would not special order a wig for me - she apparently wanted me to buy a wig only in the style/ color that she has in stock! I found a style that I loved but could not get her to show me color samples to special order wig. Her explanation was that customers must pre-pay for wig and when it comes in, color rarely exactly matches actual color sample. Customer is unhappy and since wig in non-refundable, they will give her bad review! I was happy to prepay and risk color not being an exact match; I had faith that it would be close enough for my purposes but she would not even entertain the conversation about a special order!
