Ate here today for dinner with my parents and cousin for my mom's belated birthday trying this place out for the first time. We definitely start off getting mango salad and fried calamari, then beef drunken noodles, Phuket fried rice and crispy duck and for dessert we had gotten the mango sticky rice. As an overall it had tasted really good and super delicious. The service there was also attentive and quite fast and efficient. We couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :D

We had a great dinner here. The food was delicious and servers were very attentive. The decor is calming, very understated and clean. We started with the deluxe appetizer combo and papaya salad, followed by the green curry with chicken, eggplant with shrimp and pineapple fried rice with pork. All the dishes were so tasty! Will definitely be back.

They had such a cute outside area. I bet it's nice during the spring/summer. I was seated quickly. I ordered the pad see ew with chicken and coconut sticky rice. Both came out pretty quickly. I thought the portion size was okay for the price. I've been to other Thai spots the cost the same that give bigger portions. This place was pretty busy by the time I left. Ample street parking and free after 7pm.

You are automatically greeted with beautiful floral outside seating prior to walking into the restaurant. No reservations needed for a party of 2. Plenty of vegan options (ask about all ingredients) and foods are always made to perfection. One factor the restaurant may consider is adding all the ingredients to menu (ex. Fish sauce in the papaya salad) If you can handle spicy, the kitchen can adjust the level of spiciness for your food options. Bathroom is accessible but there is a short flight of stairs to take.

Ive been coming here for years and just realized I never left a review. Service and food is always excellent. Amy the owner is also very welcoming. They have a variety of options and a lunch special if your able to come during those times.

Very nice place , servers were very nice. Drink could have been a little more and they didn't want to give a free poor after 10 drinks disappointed!

This review is based off multiple visits: Kin'd is one of those places you can count on for solid Thai food. It's affordable, tasty, and consistent. I've gone several times with friends and always leave happy with the overall experience. The menu is also broad enough that you'll find something to scratch your itch. Highlights: * Really enjoy the Iced Thai tea * Service is quick * Casual vibe, great for groups and sharing dishes Lowlights: * Nothing in particular. Some food options may taste "okay"

Unfortunately dropping my rating a bit here, which is quite sad after all the years that I've frequented Kin'd. I'm not sure when it changed, but the flavors have gotten quite toned down since they opened years ago. It seems as if their bold & punchy Thai flavors been modified a bit. My fiance & I used to sweat from the medium spicy here, but now its very tolerable. Even the spicy is not as spicy as it used to be. The duck noodle soup is also not as herbal-y and strong as it used to be. That being said, the food here is still good. I still enjoy the flavors of the drunken noodles & tom yum soup here - just need to be mindful in ordering the next spice level up. Prices have gone up in the past few years, but are still pretty comparable to other thai places. Service used to be super hospitable and they would check in often. Not sure if it was an off day, but we were seated in a corner near the window & never really had anyone come by to even refill our water glasses. There is also the most annoying light flicker in the back area. I still have a soft spot for Kin'd and still do enjoy their food; just a bit saddened by the changes over the years.

Plenty of residential street parking and metered parking. It is a decently sized space, so can go solo or in a large group. They were cutely decorated and put out lights in the evening. They also get a lot of takeout orders. The Pad See Ew with Vegetarian Duck has a strong soy sauce flavor. The vegetarian duck and Chinese broccoli were cooked well. My entree came out very quick.. like within 15 minutes. It was piping hot. The You Are Mine mocktail (seasonal special) is a mix of pineapple, yuzu, lime and unsweetened green tea. It is very yuzu forward with a hint of the pineapple and lime in the background. They have a variety of other drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Overall, a solid Thai spot to hit, especially for their lunch specials. The portions for the lunch special is the same as the dinner portion, and you get a small appetizer as well!

I came here for lunch and enjoyed the food and drink. The lunch special includes an appetizer which I love. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely come back here for dinner!

The food is great here! The minced chicken basil was flavorful and the pad thai is delish. Mango sticky rice was also one of the best ones I've had. We ordered the shrimp rolls for appetizers and the crispiness and the sweet and savory sauce paired well together. The waiters were so attentive to our table and super kind. They were quick to refill our water and remove empty plates. The ambiance is nice and I would recommend coming here for smaller parties like 2-4 friends or a date.

Ordered to go for pick up since I was in the neighborhood today, this used to be my go to spot. I ordered my usual duck pineapple curry, duck not crispy at all and soggy in water down curry sauce, food was warm not even hot. I paid $30.48 for a dinner which tasted like seating out keep warm lunch special, no longer tastes the same as it was years ago when I used to live in this area. Will not be returning.

Ate at Kin'd while visiting my son-in-law, who suggested it knowing how much I love Thai food. He mentioned he's been there many times with my daughter, so we knew it would be good--and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The staff was very friendly and informative, which made the experience even better. Wasn't too loud. The prices were also very affordable, especially for NYC. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. Highly recommended for Thai food lovers!

Our group was quite hungry as we had just walked maybe 14-16 or so miles, and I looked up the local spots around where we finished, and this lovely place popped up. We arrived pretty early for lunch, and there was already a handful of people here, but by the time we left, it was crowded. The inside has a nice design, almost reminding me of the old markets in Bangkok back when I was there. The female server we had was very friendly, giving recommendations to the people in our group who were less familiar with Thai food or helping them decide between dishes. I will note, though, that we were unaware of the lunch menu until post-meal, but that was fine with me as I left happily full. While I only had one dish and a bite of an appetizer, I would definitely go back here, and I wish it were closer, as I found this spot a gem among the many Thai spots. Someone else ordered the Curry Puffs for $10, with homemade puff pastry, ground chicken, potato, and onion with cucumber relish, as an appetizer. The dish arrived with three puffs, and I had a tiny bit of one of the parts as I wasn't sharing this dish. From the little I tasted, the puff was standard, but good, with a lightly spiced filling. The cucumber relish was slightly sweet as expected. The presentation was also nice, as there was a piece of watermelon radish as well as some sliced carrots. My main dish was the $16 Sukhothai Spicy Pork Noodle Soup with thin rice noodles, handmade pork meatballs, roasted pork, long beans, bean sprouts, peanuts, dried shrimp, and boiled egg. The dish arrived with a cracker with their logo on it, which was a fun touch, though it was soon dipped into the broth. The broth was slightly rich and quite porky as expected, and was mildly spicy. As per many other traditional Thai spots, though, they gave the usual mix of chilies and chili sauces, so soon, the spice was to my liking. The pork meatballs had a bit of bounce, and the roasted pork had good flavor. The rest of the vegetables and peanuts added a good crunch. The noodles were plentiful, and while I prefer egg noodles or thicker rice noodles found in other Thai soups, as they grab onto the broth better, they worked here. The rest of the people enjoyed their more generic dishes, ranging from green curries to Pad Thai to Pad Kee Mao/drunken noodles. I wish this place were closer, as I would definitely go back. The ratings are high, but justified.

I was almost disappointed when I saw their sign still said closed a couple minutes past 11:30 AM, but they switched it really quick. Service was friendly and attentive. The Som Tum Pu Pla-Ra had such a delicious spicy, fermented briney umami to it. The crab was tender and well marinated, so it is on the salty side. The papaya and vegetables still had a good bite to them. The spiciness is no joke. Enjoyable, but I definitely wanted a break in between bites. A must get if you enjoy these flavors! I got the lunch special, which is available everyday (yes, weekends included. I was here on a Saturday!): - Complimentary Salad: crisp and fresh veggies. Great peanut sauce. - Chive Pancake: Crisp exterior and airy interior. The sweet chili dipping sauce added great flavor. Not too sweet or spicy. - Garlic Noodles w/ Crispy Pork Belly: the pork belly was really crisped up, so some pieces were a bit too crisped up for me. The noodles were cooked well though. A lot of good flavos, a bit heavy on the salty umami but I like that. I'd choose a different protein next time. I did take the som tum pu pla-ra and the garlic noodles home for leftovers. Both maintained their deliciousness. The Mango Thai Tea has a good balance of mango and thai tea. It was a little sweet, but not overly so. Overall a solid Thai spot in the area, especially for the lunch special! A lot of fellow diners ordered the lunch special as well.
