It's the cutest shop right downtown. I love the bright open space, tons of natural light with hardwood throughout. We went to Petsmart first and they had a crapy plastic mason jar. Easily my favorite antique store in the FM area. There are lots of different booths with all kinds…read moreof items, ranging from kitsch to gothic to old Western, to European, Asian, African, and Native American. There are also lots of vintage toys, as well as CDs, books, comics, some clothing, and a large amount of vinyl records. The booths are also pretty neatly laid out, and less of a maze than other antique malls. I always come across lots of cool stuff here, and I'm always especially in awe of Big Beard Antiques' booths.

This was my second visit. The first time, 3 employees were at the front desk looking at their phones. They glanced up when I came in and then went back to their phones. No "hi", no smile, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Since the store was fairly new, I thought maybe they didn't have retail experience yet. I bought a couple of items and left. Today, nothing has changed. The guy at the register was on his phone and eating. No customer greeting. I walked around the store and saw some plants I liked. This time however, I didn't buy anything. I just left. It costs employees nothing to smile and say hi. I wasn't looking for a personal shopper, but an acknowledgement would have made a huge difference. There are plenty of other plant stores. I'll go to them.
