Many great records made there and the staff seem happy enough to let you borrow in house gear when you're recording. Beautifully finished studio with enough places to hide guitar amps for isolation (so you can run your guitar through four different guitar arms) but still giving yourself a great live room. Since then, every band I have been in has rehearsed here at some stage, and although the rooms and staff haven't changed a bit, the audio gear is always good, and the prices better than any other rehearsal room around. Although the extra services, like fridges and kettles etc remain pretty low-fi, when you rehearse here, it's a good way to practice for a gig, as each room has drum risers, and sticky carpet, like most venues themselves. Owner and manager Darren is always on hand to help you out with any questions, and I have purchased every microphone I own from him in my 15 years as a musician. Thanks for the memories.

The…read morethings I like about this place are the loading bay, trolleys for carrying gear, the bar, the performance space, and the rooms themselves all have blackboards (which can be very handy when you are working on a new song). You can book online, and look for their special weekend lock-out rates where you can get a studio for four days for absolute peanuts. They also offer storage options for musos who prefer not to lug their gear around all the time.
