We got to see four fraud themed movies that day. Some theater rooms were small and these rooms probably can accommodate 50 people. But, room #1 was huge and this room also had booth section seating. The basement area had the coat check and restrooms. I think this movie theater has other events throughout the year besides being a regular movie theater for most of part. The location for the Pathé is great and it's accessible by metro and tram.

The feeling inside is fun, with the multi level bars and theaters. I have always got great service when visiting and never had a complaint. You can actually get your beer in a glass here too which is a nice change. Usually they have a break in the film too so you can fill up or use the toilet. Since I have nothing to complain about and this is a nice new cinema I have to give it five stars. This area is also getting nicer with the Woodstone Pizza next door and a few other bars popping up close by. If you're ready for a night out, that should be a good combo. I have even heard they have events there and Wednesday seems to be ladies night, whatever that may entail.

The salons are fresh and big and the staff usually pleasant. Coming from Sweden I could never approve of the slim candy selection at any cinemas outside of Sweden's wide range but it's always fresh and actually I'm getting used to it. And oh, the salty popcorn is the best (but for my life I cannot understand sweet popcorn?). Husband and I usually are alone at this cinema (or so it feels anyway) which is a plus, it feels like a nice and quite building making it a full on pleasant experience. And oh! Best thing that happened to me is the Pathé unlimited, giving up 20 euros a month and I can hit the cinemas as often as I want, great!

My only dissatisfaction in the experience was the food. My wife at the gnocchi and I had the rump steak. Both were below expectation. This is a shame because I feel this concept could strike gold especially as the hipster scene is becoming more prominent in Amsterdam. Nevertheless, the movie theater itself was a very cool experience. The theater has an antique feel transporting you back in time. Overall a positive experience. If they could improve the quality of food and have a more seamless transition from restaurant to movies I think this could really take off.

Then I found out it was an intermission since it was a long movie... odd.. in the US we just sit through the 3 hours lol they also have one heck of a snack bar option with tea and coffee in tea cups and stuff that you could bring into the theaters and there are little tables at your seats. So snazzy! Also you can reserve your seat online so you can guarantee a spot. American theaters need to step it up!
