It's more like a take out place, and they do have an English menu -- just ask for it. Price-wise, given it's Copenhagen and everything is expensive, I guess they are priced right (otherwise I don't think the locals will go often). The taste of the food was great. The Phat See Yu, Phat Thai, Tom Yum (soup with an addition of rice by adding $$) and Penang Curry (comes with rice) tasted good, and I think they were more on the sweet side (sweeter than the usual Thai food I have). We also ordered the Papaya salad, but didn't feel like there was papaya in it. The chili pepper in the salad was super spicy though. The portions were so big that we had leftovers for the following day for both lunch and a bit left for dinner. Considering we spent 598 DKK for this meal, this was easily the most expensive Thai takeaway I had.

I tried the other dishes, a wok with vegetables, and all the vegetables in the dish where the one you buy really cheap frozen in the supermarket. It was just really bad. After that I haven't bought food there anymore, and several of my friends have had the same experience. So, it's okey for wine and coffee outside, but not for food.

In fairness, the owner imports products from Italy and there's generally a certain sense of authenticity that you get here, but 300kr for a three course meal is simply too much for a tired, empty restaurant. I get the feeling this place was a huge hit in FRB back when Copenhageners only went out for dinner one night a week/month. Now it's just horribly in need of an update in order to catch up with all the other incredible restaurants popping up all over town. Pro-tip: If you're not careful, the owner will suggest a wine that doubles what you owe for the food - be sure to ask for the wine menu so you know what you're signing up for. I was not happy to find out that my meal and half bottle of wine put me over 600kr for a Wednesday night dinner. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Food would've made it four stars, but the experience brings it down to three.

The vegetables and pasta were perfectly al dante and had a bright and vibrant appearance, taste and nuance. The wine choices by the glass, and deserts were all great. We were even graciously thanked by Chef Murat at the conclusion of the meal. A wonderful meal and well worth the half hour walk into the Fredricksberg neighborhood from our hotel. I highly recommend this restaurant.
