This is therapeutic deep tissue massage and it was obvious that Diana truly understands the physiology of the human body. I was finally able to move my neck and get some pain relief. They focus on their patient, asking good questions and listening well. Very low key -- No sales pitch to sign up for membership, purchase packages etc. Diana suggested that I might consider another massage to continue working out my kinks, but there was absolutely no pressure or scare tactics like I've gotten at other places. I made a follow up appointment for the next week which was yesterday. Again, Diana worked magic on my muscles. It hurt at the time, but wow I am feeling sooo much better, can move freely, and my only soreness now is from the muscles that were worked on, just like soreness after a gym session. My first visit here was Nov. 2019. I found Kinetic Massage Works via an internet search and loved what the reviews were saying about this place. I prefer deep tissue massages and scheduled a 90min session. It was one of the best massages that I have ever received. Without hesitation, I quickly made my 2nd appointment the following week and was going once per week for the first six visits to work on specific areas. I am pain free, I have more flexibility and I feel rejuvenated after every single visit. I love this place. The atmosphere is so tranquil and conducive to each session, that I feel at ease before the massage even starts. I live in the Energy Corridor area and drive more than 20miles for these therapeutic massages. If you go to your EX to get a massage, you are either a glutton for punishment or she is a great therapist. While the jury is still out whether or not in a glutton for punishment, Denise is a great therapist! She has helped me through slipped disks, pinched nerves, sore muscles and limited joint movement. Yes, I'm jacked up at times but that's why I value her service and put up with her contestant "If you would do what I tell you, you would not be this jacked up! " Yea, kinda like when we were married but i take it because she is that good! Deep tissue or a light touch, she is excellent at providing you what pressure you need to feel better and get you through your issues. While I'm convinced she takes a bit to much pleasure when I come to her after I do not listen and need some heavy work, she is worth every "Oh, Holy Hell" and "Sadist!" My review is long overdue! I have been going to Micaela for almost three years now and she is hands down the most talented and proficient massage therapist I have ever had in my life. One of the biggest problems I have had with my previous massage therapists is pressure. I require a significant amount of pressure (almost painful) in order to feel the benefits of massage and she is able to deliver on my expectations. Recently I had another 2 hr DT massage with Michaela and like ALWAYS my massage was MAGNIFICENT!!!! I am originally from Ohio and have been here in Houston for 5 yrs now. Back at home I had the same Therapist for 12 yrs. Now that I live here, I have been in search of developing the same relationship with a Therapist here and I must admit Michaela is it!!!! My only issue is that I cannot see her as often as I would like due to my work schedule (I travel a lot), being a single parent and where it live in comparison to where Kinetic is located (it's 45 mins away). Micaela has magical fingers! I cannot say enough about how great she is. The CBD massages are incredible. The CBD works on those nerve endings & the pain is gone! A pea size amount of the CBD goes a long way. I've been seeing a doctor for my "torn" left rotator cuff. Micaela worked on my left shoulder & neck today. I have been getting 90 minute massages from Silahis for several months. She is always punctual, nice, and professional. The online booking system makes it very easy to make appointments. The office has 2 massage rooms and it's very clean and quiet. Silahis is great at detecting where I have the most tightness and she is fantastic at working out the knots. I highly recommend the 90 minute massage because that gives enough time for her to really focus on the problem areas while still giving a full body massage. I found KMW on Yelp over 3 years ago when looking for a massage therapist near me. At the time, Micaela was the only therapist and I went to her regularly for 3-4 months with neck/back issues, then continued to maintain every 6 weeks or so. Been having a tingling sensation in my right shoulder blade (rhomboids) due to pent up stress and overworking my right arm to compensate for some damage in my left rhomboids.
