Got the pesto chicken pizza (just a bit greasy) but still so good! Shared it with my 8 year old. No complaints! They have a crap ton of IPA's and 1 Pilsner. They have non-alcoholic options and a couple fountain drinks and apple juice for kids. Also got the Boujee Brie Burger, 10/10. Outside picnic benches available. Not good on the parking availability, but overall a good experience. Would come back for sure!

I hadn't been to North Sacramento in quite awhile. Del Paso Blvd. Seems to be happening these days. After yelping & discovering King Cong Brewing we were mighty pleased we stopped for a beer. Solid IPA's & I had a great Pilsner. Didnt have any food but we saw a couple pizzas being ordered. Chill atmosphere with a nice outside patio.Order at the counter. May have to wait in line. Pet friendly. Trivia Night on Tuesdays.Games available to play while sipping

This was my first time visiting this brewery and it didnt disappoint! I visited on a weekday, about 20 mins after they opened which is at 4pm on a Tuesday. We parked on the street, which has a 2 hr limit but you dont have to pay, which was nice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. There are about 5 tvs, both indoor and outdoor. They had a good selection of beer (stouts, sour, ipa, and pilsners), so I opted for a flight. Their food was super yummy, we got their nachos and their pesto twists. The twists were AMAZING. If you are looking for a new brewery, you should definitely check out king cong.

Sitting outside for a deaf social. We just saw Deafies in Drag. Now for some food and social time. Food is great and cider is yummy! Great customer service and first time here. I'll definitely come again.

Fun spot! Our first time there and it was super cool! Friendly staff, great beer options, loads of seating options too! This location will be a new Sac Republic Pregame location! Good enough light to get a grainy film pic! Hit them up ASAP!

Stopped in on a early Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty quiet. The interior is kinda dark and old looking, but clean. There is a large back patio with seating and an area that looks like it would work for entertainment. The service person was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Ordered a flight of beers and the soft pretzels with beer cheese. Both the pretzels and the beers were excellent. They had a great selection of different beer styles from light to dark and everything I tasted was clean and correct for the style. The only thing I wish they offered were some malt forward options that would round out the offering. I will definitely return for the beer and also to try their pizza, which looked amazing. Cheers!

I've been wanting to come here for a while, it's in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and not too far from my house. I just came back from Germany, so I thought it would be fun to go to a brewery for some good beer for Valentines. When we first drove up, I wasn't sure if it was open or not. The front is a bit dark and could use some light. But we decided to park and check the door. They were open! The ambience is casual. They have tables inside, and an outside patio. I'll get back to that. When you come in you are greeted and you place your order at the bar. I asked for recommendations because the beer menu is huge. My husband and I are on the opposite ends of beer, and both of us like the recommendations we got. If you want to keep an open tab, you leave your credit card at the bar. The food menu is surprisingly extensive, ranging from salads to plates to pub food. We ended up getting a Mac burger, and a flatbread with bacon and chicken. We took our beers and our order sign and went to sit outside on the patio. It took a minute for the food to come, but we enjoyed it. Perfect with the beer. I love sitting outside and will do so in my fur coat if I have to. But here you don't have to because there are heaters everywhere. Personally, not a big fan of the heaters and they made the area pretty warm. I asked for the heater close to our table to be turned down, and the tables next to us that had other heaters on it became rolling stones because people would sit down and then move again because it was just too warm. I like the ambience and will go back to try more of the fantastic beer menu. This is a definitely a family place. Lots of children and a dog. There is parking out front on Del Paso Boulevard, but I suspect when it gets busier, you might have to park on the side streets.

Flight of beer on a hot Friday afternoon after work!

Came here after a busy day at work with a coworker and was pleasantly surprised! I loved every beer we tried on the flight. The flatbread was very delicious and the crunch was perfect. The bartender (?)/ cashier (?) Were really friendly and willing to give recommendations to try. The space was busy even for a weekday. There were people of all ages there and they had a small cupboard with board games. It was a very hot fay so we didnt go to the back area. But there is a larger back area that larger groups could gather. Can't wait to come back with more coworkers next time!

This brewery is a fun go-to spot for unique events! I recently attended a lively Lotería night--Jamie, the host, was super friendly and made it a blast. I've also been here for an off-roading SuperRigs event! They occasionally have live music, and while food is light (small bites only) the vibes are great. Unpaid street parking available nearby.

Super friendly staff and a great ambiance. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but it smelled amazing. They also offer free beer labels, the label art is one of my favorite things about this brewery...

I love king cong. They have great customer service and are quick to get your cooled food to you. There is outdoor seating. We tried the sampler beers that you. An choose from the menu. The nachos are so good you have to try them! There beer is fresh. Nice little hangout spot with corn hole and board games.

King Cong is a decent little brewery in a part of town that desperately needed a quality place to gather. Every now and again I come here to meet up with a group of friends and we enjoy the outdoor patio. Inside is rather dark and small, but the outdoor patio is pretty chill. There's shade, space heaters for the colder months, and the occasional brewery kitty. They do Trivia twice a week as well. Dog-friendly, of course. Service here is always polite and friendly. As far as beers go, I usually go with their Czech dark lager Prague at Night because it's fantastic and I am drawn to all dark beverages. There's usually a Russian Imperial Stout on tap too. In all honesty I really wish they would incorporate more maltier styles into the lineup as this place is very IPA heavy. I'd be down to see some ambers, browns, or porters in the mix. They have pizza here too, which I'm told is pretty tasty and reasonably priced, but they still don't offer dairy-free cheese so I can't partake. For my taste this is a solid three stars.

This place is literally my favorite brewery! They hold game and movie nights, and have outdoor seating that is family friendly (bring your fur babies) ! They are constantly changing their soup selections and it is delicious every time! Their pesto bread is honestly the best pesto twist I've had around here! My favorite beertenders are Scott and Kayla! They're hilarious and know their stuff! The staff is one of the best part ! I forgot this was a beer place.. haha! The beer is delicious. I love the la Xingona and I am really sad they pull out of Beerfest, because they make quality beers!

Fast, friendly service and great food. What more can you ask for? Inside, also an eclectic mix of seating with vaulted ceilings, cool/rustic lighting -- very much of a cool warehouse feel. I like. The counter order process is a little messy. First, the menu boards...it's a lot of delicious varieties that's hard to remember the exact names to order once you step up to the cashier. But the staff is wonderful, happy service people...that help you out to correct and clarify. My favorites: ============ * Impossible Taco Salad [5.0 stars] -- my favorite salad. * Mama Chen's Chinese Chicken Salad [5.0 stars] -- omg, the chicken. * Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada w/Chicken [4.5 stars] * Saved Drake Farm's Salad w/chicken [4.5 stars] Seasonal favorites: ================ * Seasonal: Tuna on wheat (they are huge) [5.0 stars] * Seasonal "The 8 Hour" Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich [4.0 stars]: Pork was tender, but way too sweet and on grilled panini? Hardly. It was a 6" roll cut in half, and barely toasted or grilled. Plus, it doesn't come with chips, c'mon! That's a necessity in my book! Also: ==== * The Farm Club Sandwich [4.5 stars] * Habanero potato chips by Mama Zuma's...excellent. * Love the soda machine. You won't find Poopsi or Poke here, only Puck's - an all natural, no artificial colors or preservatives (you'll have to bring it from the outside if you want it!). Recommend: The Black Cherry. One peeve: ========== No salt shakers. If you ask, they have to go to the back and bring out a little paper cup worth. Almost making up for it are really nice pepper grinders brought to your table upon request. There's plenty of parking and after walking in; I was disappointed since there was no one willing to take orders in person so we were forced to navigate their kiosk menu ordering system. Their system is fairly simple to use, plenty of pictures to show you what each item potentially looks like. But if you're not use to ordering from a kiosk then it can be frustrating. We finally got our order placed and sat until our food was ready (call by name). When our food was ready, everything was there except my salad (only thing they didn't have to cook, LOL). Food was prepared well and plated nicely. I was surprised that my wife ordered her fish fried and not grilled but the fish portion was huge, but she seemed very happy with her food & her sides: brussel sprout and sweet potato fries. My two fish tacos was pretty good the ends of each portion was mostly batter which gave you that crunch sound on the first bite but the tacos was missing something maybe some salsa/hot sauce or a crema. My side: street corn and Caesar salad. Their street corn was on point so I added it to my tacos which gave it more flavor. The salad was nice and refreshing. I did also order their clam chowder which was creamy but after several spoonfuls, the taste of butter was prominent; so I never finish the soup. BONUS: they serve Stubborn soda, so if you never had it then it's worth just stopping in for that alone! Overall, nice visit.
