I love them but it's very unfortunate that they don't stick to a scheduled working day. I've came twice to them and they were not opened but they have a sign in the front and online it says they are open. read more

When I need a shot of garlic or when I want the office to know where I've been, I always drop in to King Donair. No pretenses, great food, great prices, generous portions. If you like Donair, Shawarma, Felafel, or the best tabouleh ever, this is where you'll find it, in Red Deer. read more

We had to do a job in red deer and decided to stop here for a donair, got the beef donair with sweet sauce, at first i thought the sauce was an odd colour, but it was amazing!!! The best sweet sauce i have ever had and the meat was cut in thick chunks so the meat was tender and delicious. And the gentleman working there was very friendly. I will definitely get another donair when in red deer again. read more

I have been going to king donairs on and off for a few years my family goes there and they have amazing delicious authentic food. Its a shame about the location though. read more

We invited a friend for dinner from Bowden who had never been but said her son said "popular for old people and breakfast". I was a bit confused but went with it. The menu in person starts with the family restaurant/breakfast foods, the Persian stuff is in the back. I didn't bother looking at the rest of the menu as I had only confirmed previous that all the kebabs were safe as I was unaware of the other items. My husband and I both had the Vaziri Kebab entree and subbed the Shirazi salad for the house salad. The portions were HUGE. We had to get to go boxes, thankfully my hotel toom has a fridge. I think my plate had 1.5 cups of rice alone, the kebabs were close to a foot each. This was my husband's 1st time eating Persian food and he quite enjoyed himself. I enjoyed it too. We will definitely be back. The menu did list list a "goat cheese eggs benedict, so I may have to do more research on the other safe menu items.
