I've been using King Green going on 6 years. I have nothing but praise for the company. They have helped transform our lawn since buying our house. When we bought our house, our lawn was neglected, sparse and very "meh." Our lawn is now bright, vibrant and lush. King Green does automatically renew your contract after every season, which is convenient. The money spent is time saved so we don't have to worry about fertilizing, etc. We get a lot of compliments on our lawn and King Green is to thank. I even got a family member to use their service as well. My only small complaint is I wish they would call a day ahead so I can prepare my backyard / dogs. They do this for my family member, but never to me when I've asked. King Green even sprays our crabapple tree annually to help it stay healthy. Very impressed! read more

I agree with some of these people on here regarding Terry Lynn who used to work the phone. She can be very rude and talk over you which is so annoying and definitely not professional- especially for the first person you talk to when you call a business! I used this company for several years and thought I would give another company a try which I wasn't happy with last year. So now I don't know whether to go back to King green or who to try. read more

I did not hire King Green this year, although used them in prior years. They came out and sprayed and threatened to send me to collections agency if I did not pay. In looking at historical reviews, this appears to be a pattern with them. My lawn looked awful so I hired a different company for 2026. read more

Service is great. Cost is reasonable they give discounts to returning customers each year

Poor customer service, poor service intervals, always fail to return phone calls. All I wanted was green grass and no weeds. After six treatments, I still have weeds and I have more dead grass now than before they started treating my lawn. They were quick to take my money an quick to cancel my service without a return phone call or even a partial refund. We installed a sprinkler system this past April, so lack of water isn't the issue. One of the worst services I have ever received. Killed my grass in some areas and other areas grew absurdly. The following year increased the price for their services and when I tried to call and cancel their service they came out the home and applied fertilizer after I found a replacement company to take over. They are now charging for service despite my calling to cancel and harassing me for payment with threats for collection agency when it's their fault for not listening to company messages! Refrain from using their services unless you want to get ripped off. read more

They automatically renew your contract without your consent. When I signed-up with different company to treat my lawn, King Green showed up 2 days later and treated. When I called a very rude employee did not attempt at all to be understanding but informed me that if I didn't pay for the service I would be turned over to collections...and then the same person badgered me with phone calls and emails demanding payment. WILDLY unprofessional and rude. Do not spend your money here under ANY circumstance. They bill for services you did not ask for and then send you to collections when you do not pay for those services. They claim we asked for fertilization when we never asked for it and they could've killed my lawn because we already had fertilization service done by another company. They just took it upon themselves to fertilize our lawn and charge us for it when we never ask them to do that. We never signed a contract or asked them for that service however, they want to charge for it. Then when we called for clarification and to explain the situation they were EXTREMELY rude and talked over us the entire conversation. Be smart and take your business elsewhere. read more

The company does not have written policies in place where customers can easily view them. Policies change from year to year and when questioned about them, the customer service is rude and not helpful. read more

I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!! Long story short, someone falsely signed my name up with this company at their address. They had their lawn fertilized, made a few payments, then stopped paying. Now King Green says I am liable for the last payment because they have my name on file. They keep no record of payments, and have no real service contract other than a verbal one. Literally you could give them any name, not pay, and then that person would be held responsible for payment. It was even sent to a collection agency. I talked to the owner Terry Lynn who did not believe a word I said, and refused to do anything about it, just threatening that it would be put on my credit if I didn't pay. Despite the fact that I do not own the house, and that the contract has my name and an imaginary wife, I definitely do not have, Terry Lynn still refused to even look into the possibility of fraud. They didn't even have the right phone number on file. She was very rude and just kept saying I do not understand because I am not a business owner. I will be reporting this to the BBB and filing a police report also. Totally unprofessional. read more
