Went on Friday night and this place was packed! Been coming here forever and they've done a great job adding on to their patio. Slushies are always tasty and something about beer in their cold mugs just hits. Lots to love on the menu. Only bummer was that I love to get their chicken tenders tossed in the RSOW sauce but the server told me that they no longer toss in the sauce... Went last night and shared some nachos with a friend. I definitely want to try some different foods there, everything that came out looked good. I brought home a burnt ends sandwich for my husband and he said it was really good. We had 2 servers and both of them were really nice. This place is an enclosed porch kind of setting so if it's really cold I'd bring a jacket but this place stays packed both times I've been here. This review is from the fall and our first visit to King Jugg. There is a parking lot but it was packed so we had to find street parking. We parked behind the restaurant near the Cheeny nature area. We went for a birthday gathering and had an area outside. Everyone ordered their own snacks so we got to try a bunch of items. The chicken tenders and wings were amazing and so were their fries and pretzels. I heard the pizza is fantastic from other guests but I didn't try any this visit. The outdoor space is quite large and they sometimes have live music. My husband had beers but I only had the food. I really want to take our kids here. Stopped in for a quick lunch and this place did not disappoint. It was a beautiful spring day so the open air seating was awesome. Our server was so sweet, and the food was quick, fresh and hot. Lots of different beers to try although we didn't indulge in any this trip. My husband introduced me to King Jugg on a Friday night at 7pm - the place was packed! But we only had to wait about 10 minutes. I loved the open air feel with all the windows up so it didn't matter if you sat "inside" or outside. The food - so good! The ROSW sauce is amazing, I would put it on everything! It was blistering hot outside and I thought in by the bar might be a better choice even than under the shaded tables (of which all were taken and there was one left in the sun). King Juggs is a restaurant my family keeps in monthly rotation. They have some amazing Chicken Wings that while are eclectic with mustard undertones, never disappoint. My kids love the Stuffed Breadsticks. We also love the R.S.O.W Burger and Hot King Jugg Hot Chicken Sandwich, which while is spicy to my husband, is evenly toned down with the coleslaw. Have yet to order anything that was unsatisfying in flavor, even through Door Dash. My only challenge at times through delivery, is the containers (which appear biodegradable), cause a lot of condensation making crispy things soggy upon arrival. Our server, Ava, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us great recommendations. We started with the breadsticks and Brussels sprouts--both were fantastic! The breadsticks were flavorful and not greasy, and I loved their creative twist on the Brussels. We also had wings, which were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The ambiance was very cool, and I loved the location. However, I do wish there was a fully enclosed indoor dining area. We asked to sit indoors, but the space was still open to the outside. I'm a mosquito magnet and ended up with a few bites during the meal, which was a bit of a downside. Loved the open atmosphere and area! Thought it may be a little loud right off the highway but you honestly forget it's so close. Love the open air and open bar area! I'm sure during big game days when it's warm this is THE place to be in Fishers! Our service was great & everyone was very friendly/helpful. Went on a Friday night which was a little busier so they told us 15-20 minutes. However we waited maybe 5 minutes max before my wife and I were seated! The food was so good! A friend recommended this little hidden gem. Tucked away in near downtown Fishers but off the beaten path this place is a treat. I visited in the dead of cold, but I'm very excited to visit during the summers because they have a really nice patio. To compensate they do have outdoor igloo seating with heat lamps but I wasn't brave enough to sit out there. It's not a huge place, it's pretty quaint but very bustling with the games on, and music. There wasn't a live band when I was there but I understand that there is from time to time. Food was priced decently, and the food is good. I had a burger and it's smash burger style which is the way I like it. Our sever was really good and attentive offering us ideas since it was our first visit. Even though it was busy she didn't skip a beat. Everyone seemed very friendly and if you want to meet people, sit at the bar, everyone is super friendly up there. read more

Top hidden gem in Fishers! I mean, it's like they went out of their way to get off the main trail, but you need to seek them out. We have been here 10+ times and every time is so great. Look, you're going to wait, and it's so worth it, but just grab a drink and enjoy. I'm a big IPA fan and the Earl is great! They have done such a great job with the building/deco/environment, just a fun place to be. Parking is a little tight but again, so worth it. The staff has been so fun, always attentive, on point. Menu has so many options and everything we've tried has been great! I'm a big fan of the brisket sandwich with tots but so many choices. If in the Fishers area, put this on the top of the list! Everyone at our table loved their meals (wraps and burgers) and I had the Buffalo chicken dip app as my meal which was so so good! Unfortunately I was really not impressed with our service. The server seemed distracted and didn't know what their "secret sauce" was? Which I find weird when it's all over the entire menu. They seemed quite distracted and not entirely friendly which threw the vibes off. I also paid in cash and she brought my change but didn't bring my coins(just the bills)... not sure why it's assumed you can keep part of my change? I did tip her but maybe she was under the assumption I would not and kept my coins which... is stealing lol. We stumbled in this place for a date night and we will be coming back soon!! king Jugg is a scratch kitchen so everything is super fresh and homemade. I had a wrap and tots, and my boyfriend had a smash burger and fries and both of us were very satisfied. The server, Noah, was super sweet and helpful. Nice setting open to the outdoors. We sat inside hoping it'd be cooler on this blistering hot July day. Bad choice! The ceiling fans in the covered patio made it feel much cooler there with the air circulation. That said, this is a great bar. We came for the tenderloin and it lived up to 'Hoosier Sandwich' expectations. Pounded to a nice 3/8" moist meaty disk that didn't try to be so big & thin to outsize the bun & plate that the meat got dry. I chose the slaw as my side and found it to be pretty decent - hard to find good vinegar slaw in this town however. A very good selection of craft brews complemented my meal. We got lost in the desserts: A very good slice of cheesecake with berry coulis for Tami and equally satisfying bread pudding (my addiction) for me. In both cases the sauces made them special. Came on a pleasant Friday night at 6:00. Had heard parking was a challenge, but we found a spot in a public lot a block east of the restaurant. Considering they weren't full when we walked in, I could see that being a real issue on busier nights. We were asked if we wanted to dine inside or out, although warned that the shade would soon be chased by the sun, so we chose inside and were seated promptly. The inside has a bit of a Florida-feel in its layout and decor with photos and signs taking up nearly every inch of wall and post space. The main building has an intimate indoor bar and dining area, but we were seated in what seemed more like a 3 season area that could be heated. Tables were somewhat tight to one another. Peculiar DJ-type music was being played on their sound system. Our server, Izzi, was prompt and very courteous in taking care of us. Always looking for a non-Guinness stout or porter, but sadly they did not have one amongst their 20 or so drafts. So I deferred to their Chupacabra, a Mexican lager, which came in sort of a glass dimpled stein (16 oz - $6.99) and was fine. Ordered a Shrimp Rice Bowl ($16.99 - black bean & corn salsa, pickled onions, brown rice, cucumbers, pico de gallo, sweet chili sauce, cilantro, blackened shrimp). It had 5 shrimp, which seems standard for a dish these days and had a mostly nice blend of flavors along with a kick from the sauce. The negative was the excessive cucumber tended to dominate bites on occasion. People I was with ordered the Ahi Tuna Bowl ($16.99), Tenderloin Sandwich ($14.99), and Buffalo Chicken Sliders ($15.49). They each liked the flavors of their items, although they folks with sandwiches were annoyed there was an upcharge for fries. They both got chips, which seemed like they might have been made in house, although they said they lacked seasoning. Also, one of them ordered their sandwich w/o tomato, but still got it anyway. Overall, food was good, but probably a little pricey for what you get. Atmosphere was OK, but a little quirky. Service was good. As shared before, parking could be a nuisance. Since this place isn't extremely close to us, don't foresee going out of our way to return. read more

Honestly cannot believe it's taken me this long to review King Jugg. Their food hits and it's dangerous that I live so close because I am always craving that RSOW burger with some fries and a side of ranch. Their fries are next level. To be fully transparent sometimes service is a little slow especially if they're busy which is understandable and picking up orders from the kitchen can be a little awkward but the food 100% makes up for it. Love the location too. Food was good, but not "I'm running back for more" good. Homemade ranch was though. We recently visited here for dinner. The ambiance is something like nothing else in Fishers. The indoor and outdoor option always for anybody to come and enjoy the food and drinks. They have a great selection of beers and some seltzers for those non-beer drinkers. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we got was perfectly cooked and came out within a reasonable time. Stopped in for a meal and brews on a Saturday afternoon. I very unique building. It was a cold day outside and the overhead heaters were cranked high. Good selection of beers, mostly on the lighter side like lager styles but I enjoyed both of the ones I drank. The wife had a RSWO burger and I had a 1908 pork tenderloin sandwich. We split and shared. Both of us had the same opinion, the tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Crispy. However not much flavor to it. The burger was delicious and sloppy. Great atmosphere and the staff were fantastic, a couple of reasons why I rated a 4/5, First, the food was great but, when my wife received her $2+ dollar extra sweet potato fries ( I understand paying extra for sweet potato fries, but extra for regular fries or tots instead of potato chips? come on this is dinner) any, they came out burnt and it was obvious that they had been sitting for a while. The waitress brought out some new sweet potato fries for my wife, thank you but they were sub-par in taste. Most importantly, you are a brewery and having a sign in the bar that's constantly switching screens with your beer menu is horrible! Print menus for people to hold and look at, tell people about each beer, flavor profile etc. Don't frustrate people with trying to hurry and read beer names before the screen switches. read more

New favorite! Love everything about this place. Everything on the menu is great, but especially the pizzas. BEST gluten free pizza I've ever had hands down. Detroit style pizza is cooked perfectly which is rare for GF. Meatball appetizer is also great, same with salads sandwiches and everything else. Although they had a decent selection of local beers, there wasn't anything I liked (sours, gose, fruited ales). But that's on me! I did enjoy a glass of wine so was happy to have that option. The environment of this place is what truly makes it great! The outdoor lawn space is bigger than I've seen at any restaurant before. They make great use of the smaller lot that they have. They have an indoor outdoor patio that will be able to be transformed for the winter. Great outdoor dining spot right in fishers! We went for Hamilton County's Tenderloin Tuesdays and the tenderloins were good, but i'd definitely return to try something else. Service was very average, nothing above and beyond. It seems like they have an area for music, but i will mention its kid friendly and some parents couldn't seemed bothered while their kids screamed and slammed buckets around, so that's definitely something to note if you're looking for something more relaxing. I loved King Jugg. They got rid of my favorite item recently, and that hurt a lot. I went two weeks ago and had my beloved item for the last time. Not sure how often I'll be back, but it's a solid place to dine. I've never really had an issue with service or anything, but since the one thing I really enjoyed more than anything is off the menu, I will take 2-3 visits a month elsewhere.
