The young woman who has served me lately is very helpful and always greets people with a smile and a friendly word or two. Besides PO business you can buy greetings cards, a postcards, confectionery, newspapers and magazines.

Don't shop here they are not honest people. I was in (Jan 2012) to buy cigarettes for my wife paid…read more£ 10.00 + £ 2.14 so that I could have £ 5 note as change. That went fine. I left the shop, drove away from my parking space just along the street and stopping at the lights at the top of John Finnie St realised I had not taken the cigarettes. I drove right round the one way system, parked (again) and went in to the shop to collect the forgotten cigarettes. The shopkeeper denied I had left them. This person was not the nice honest trader I have come to expect ( and is usual ) in Kilmarnock! Would have given 0 stars if that was an option!

Great newsagents with plenty of newspapers and magazines to choose from. You can also buy…read morestationery and confectionery, including gift boxes of chocolates. Some reductions being offered at the moment if you buy three of something (chocolate bars, for instance). It's a nice friendly shop too and the two ladies serving there this afternoon couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The shop is found just just inside the indoor mall opposite Aulds.

In addition, there is a small range of greetings cards, wrapping paper, decorative gift bags and you can also find some stationery and greetings cards. I was in there yesterday morning; it was a bit crowded but I didn't have to wait very long to be served.
