Since they were not able to complete till the afternoon prior, the dress was not put on till night of prom, sadly. I went back the next day with pictures. Before I could even explain, both Mike and his wife screamed at me, waved hands in air as to strike me, and ordered me not to return. I was in shock, as I approached in a calm manner asking what they could do as far as a fair reimbursement. I did not request any amount, but I did share that the dress could never be worn again. I had hoped for return of the service $150 I would encourage you to notice the quick temper of these owners prior to giving them your item to alter. Possibly simple hems, but they did not appear experienced to handle these new formals with multiple layers, or at least was not able to properly hem this one. So sad to see a beautiful dress, with a gorgeous young lady attend her first prom and feeling awkward about her crooked hemmed formal. Pictures show gown from formal shop with even hem. Other photo with red line shows hem dragging on ground on the back and left side. Right side is correct length, but back and left falls several inches below. Horrible!

The young lady at Needle&Thread patiently received me and helped me pick a button most similar to what I have on the coat and finished the job within 5 minutes for me when I told her I was in a real hurry. I needed my pants taken in and my sleeves of my jacket brought in a bit. Measurements were very quick and I was given a date of two weeks later. I was offered earlier but I was months out from the wedding so I was in no hurry. Someone before me needed their suit within the week so I hope I helped a bit by sending myself to the bottom of the list. When I picked it up, I was asked to go in through the Dry Cleaning entrance. I was given my suit, tried it on, and if I had any questions or concerns, to ask the woman working at the front desk. All fit perfectly so I packed it all back up and left. Great price too! I think I paid only $70 for an expert tailor job.

I just tried them on when I got home and they fit great and look perfect! Velvet pants - hemmed Black pants - hemmed and they were WAY too tight in the thighs and Amy did some kind of magical thing with the seam where she used a seam ripper to rip something out. Now they are still a little tight but actually wearable (going in I didn't think she'd be able to do anything about the tightness) White shirt - she cut and resewed the front panel onto the mesh so that it would fit my smaller bust. Before, there was way too much of the mesh part and I couldn't wear it because I couldn't exactly fill it up lol Thank you Amy!!!! Please give her business a try.
