( because our soil is too alkaline for the tree). I'd hired two other companies in years past claiming they could help, but their treatments had less effect than me standing on my garage roof spraying chelated iron on the leaves. And they charged 10-20x the price of the $12.99 bottle of iron! The tree outgrew my garage roof. Four Seasons' treatment made remarkable growth on the tree in just over a month. I'm stunned in a good way. Good work, saved me money (they could have earned), and their work was better than previous companies at a good price. Def recommend!

While transporting large cut tree limbs and brush from our backyard to the front of our home to be grinded, TNT workers damaged a portion of the siding on our garage. These TNT workers never mentioned to us that they hit the side of our garage with tree particles causing damage. We didn't notice the damage until after they had completed the job and left our property. Instead of being integral, notifying us of their mistake and compensating us, we found several strips of Dupont Tyvek tape covering gashes. Character is what you do when no one's watching. Since then we had another large tree removed from our property. We did not call TNT Tree Service & Stump Grinding.

They missed an old fence post buried in concrete during the removal of the old landscaping. Instead of removing it later when they laid the new sod, they just laid the sod around it as if I wanted to keep an old fence post in my yard. They took so long to come lay the sod that they were not able to complete the job before the cold weather hit last year so they had to return to finish the job this spring. They did not tell me when they were coming to do the sod work either time. They did not tell me how I was supposed to take care of the new sod. I can see the seams where the sod is laid which looks terrible. They pulled out an old basketball post for me and said they would return to fill in the hole and lay sod over that as well but did not finish that part of the job either. They basically did not seem to care how good of a job they were doing. I will never use their services again and would not recommended them to anyone.

Sam was very professional and gave a much better quote than the company we originally contacted. The only downside was the new sidewalk that was installed the year before was badly broken. Unfortunately, the plywood they placed on the sidewalk did not prevent the damage. Sam said he would have a concrete company come out and repair it or contact the city to have it fixed. The crew knows what they are doing but Rod is an "absentee owner." He flies by the seat of his…read morepants and doesn't have good communication skills. Also, he doesn't give you a written estimate--it's a verbal deal. Apparently you have to ask for paperwork or else you don't get it. This is important because I didn't hear everything he said about his figures, and was surprised at the final bill. A poor business practice not to give written estimates. When I first called him about a job, I specifically told him to call me before coming to my house to make sure I was home. Instead, he just showed up on my door step. I went ahead and hired him and told him to have his crew call before they came. Same thing as before--they just rolled up with all their equipment without any prior notice. During the job, I asked if they would throw a few small dead branches I had collected into their shredder. A crew member said they couldn't do that because it could damage the machine. Later, they collected some dead branches the same size from the tree they were cutting and threw them in their shredder. Guess the machine is sensitive about who throws in the branches! When the job was done, Rod was nowhere to be found, and the crew had to wait 20 minutes in hopes of getting his invoice to pass on to me. They finally left when Rod didn't show up. I couldn't get a bill from them and had to call him. Later, he texted me his bill. Remember, he doesn't do paperwork--it's all in his head, and then he sends you a text image of his bill. This guy totally flies by the seat of his pants, has no communication or planing skills, is very unprofessional and a classical "absentee owner" who underpays his crew of hardworking guys while he jumps around from one job to another. I will never have him do any more work for me.
