On their initial visit, the tech told us how to reset our side slide which was experiencing uneven movement and sticking. They also set an appointment for the following week to repair or our furnace. They showed up early for the repair and it wound up being $200 less than the original quote. They removed the furnace and cleaned out the mess left by dirt daubers (thanks previous owner!), then reinstalled and made sure the screen was in place to prevent future problems. The part of TX I'm in is pretty remote & difficult to find or order parts in a timely manner. I bought a replacement motor for my levelling system and hired Shawn Hanks to install it for me. He told me right up front that he was reluctant to only replace the motor and not the whole assembly but I told him to go ahead anyway. Long story short, turned out the pump was bad as well so I ordered the whole assembly and he got it working perfectly. On top of that my wipers had just frozen up on my way here and he analyzed it and the wiper motor wasn't producing power. I ordered a wiper motor and he said that hopefully that would solve the problem but it was possible that the switch had burned out as well and we wouldn't know until we replaced the motor. Sure enough the new motor provided power but the switch was not working. Replaced the switch and we're back in business. I cannot recommend Shawn highly enough for his professionalism & knowledge and making multiple trips to get me sorted. If you're ever at the TT in Gordonsville, don't bother checking around for anyone except Knights Mobile RV Repair.

We stayed at their next door KOA (very nice BTW, would return) and made an appointment for service on Monday morning (5 dys later) after the Dallas Motor Speedway NASCAR race. We arrived 30 minutes early and dropped off our 5th wheel for 1) 4 new tires, 2) repair of a broken window, and 3) repair of a leak in powder room plumbing. Nearly 6 hours later, we learned that they had yet to put on the tires and were unable to fix the window or the powder room plumbing. They said the entire window would need to be replaced (NOT true, when we returned home my husband ordered the 60$ part and fixed it himself)! They didn't even bother to say why they didn't fix the plumbing issue. I suspect they either didn't know how or didn't have the parts or I don't know what, but they should have notified us hours earlier so we could've been on our way. Really frustrating! Would not schedule repair service with them again.

I didn't try it but I think there was a snowball's chance in hell I was going to be able to make that work at my existing storage facility. Enter Secure RV. This place is primarily designed for storing RVs so the rows are nice and wide and the parking spots are too. This makes picking up and dropping off the boat a breeze. This facility has 24-hour access with your own passcode. Rates were about $60 for outside parking, and $120 for covered parking. Parking spots are 10 x 30 or something like that. If you have an RV they have an onsite mechanic and various other services.
