A visit to a podiatrist was well overdue and so I was pleased to find I could easily book an appointment online with the Fitzroy foot and ankle clinic. Glen was warm and friendly and didn't chastise me for having rough heels or give me a lecture about needing to wear orthotics. I've experienced this kind of approach from podiatrists in the past and it was refreshing to have an appointment with someone realistic about my lifestyle. Instead of trying to up sell orthotics, he gave me an explanation about the biomechanics of my feet and suggested I do some simple foot stretches to improve the structure of my feet. And, the best bit, all of the rough skin was removed painlessly from my feet and my toes can now be unleashed upon the world this summer!

The…read morestaff were all friendly, organised and highly professional, and the practice itself clean and well presented. However, after it became apparent that my injury was not improving, the physio is question refused to reconsider their diagnosis. Eventually, I gave up on the practice and declined to book any more sessions. Skip ahead six months and another physio at another practice has taken a slower, more methodical approach to the diagnosis and discovers that it is an entirely different malady to that which the original physio had claimed. The new diagnosis was then confirmed by an MRI. I want to make it clear that many injuries are extremely difficult to diagnose correctly, and that it can happen to anyone. However, I can't help but resent the flippant approach this particular physio had to my injury and their refusal to reconsider their initial assessment in the face of a lack of improvement. The appointments were all short, and I did feel a little ushered out of room at times. However, I would definitely recommend this practice for their personal training and fitness classes, particularly the pilates. Any fitness routines conducted under the supervision of well-informed physios is always a good idea, particularly regarding the prevention of injuries.

Took me 8 month to make the decision of visiting a Physio to see if they can help and i wish i done that earlier. Chose BMI Brunswick due to proximity to my house and can't be happier with the service that these guys provide. Had my shoulder looked at by Aaron who diagnosed the problem correctly(overuse...) and recommended a few stretching exercises that still help till today. I explained my situation to him in regards to running and he suggested i look at taking part in the Pilates for runners program that these guys offer. I attended the presentation for the program and found it to be pretty helpful and Christine and Marcus seemed to know what they are talking about so i enrolled in the 6 week program which included a very thorough one to one assessment where Christine, my instructor for the program, managed to identify weak muscles and recommended some exercises to strengthen those muscles. She was very considerate throughout the whole program and she had a keen eye for details. She gave hints and cues that put my running back on track and at the end of the program, she tailored another personal program for myself and the other runners in the group(another 3), in case one wants to do more sessions and work more on the weak muscles identified during the running program. We also got a home program that taught some basic Pilates moves which is a great addition to any weekly exercise program. The running program exceeded my expectations and Pilates as a fitness system is definitely helping with my running and although the idea of doing Pilates was not really appealing to my mind at first, but after most of the sessions, i was huffing and puffing walking out of the clinic and felt the burn of a good workout so i definitely changed my mind about Pilates. All and all, these guys offer a very good service. Sessions where always on time, very thorough and they are very considerate and try their best to give you very good value for money. I'll be back for the personalised program for sure.

I would have mixed reviews on the physios they are friendly and so is the staff but I've had a few issues with them. I would say if you need to do physio workouts in a structured way either in 1 on 1 with physio in the gym or by doing a semi private physio pilaties class and your in the west side it's probably the best one in the area. When choosing a physio here make sure you choose a senior physio if you get a inexperienced one you will regret it. I come here now for my knee injury and do pilaties twice a week as part of my recovery and it's certainly better then doing a physio workout routine at home.The pilaties reformer is the best way to get back into it after a injury.

Their drive to help their clients is incredibly uplifting and their approach to physio is professional, selfless, and inspiring. Primal is THE physic to go to. Sophisticated clinic and is unlike any other. I've been to various…read morephysios and Primal is just superb. You walk in and you feel great already. On top of the vibe and aesthetic of the clinic, the admin staff are just so lovely. Super helpful and genuine good staff. Not a long waiting time compared to other physios, the most you'll ever wait will be 5 minutes, but that's extremely rare. The clinicians are always on time every time I come. Their approach is like no other. I felt comfortable with Primal and they've fixed up my broken body hahaha. Definitely worth my money and time. I now come for remedial massage and the occasional physio appointments. Def recommend the pilates reformer classes as well. Coming here actually makes exercise fun! I should've came here in the first place instead of other drab clinics. Genuinely pleased with Primal and what they have to offer.
