Either they don't have the medication, or they have to special order it, or they only give me a few pills and tell me they owe me the rest... Many times they actually forget to special order the items I need without having to be reminded by me calling them... so everything usually takes much longer to get than was promised initially. The store itself is kind of cute, albeit sparsely so. There are your typical odds and ends you'd expect at an independent pharmacy.. nothing out of the ordinary here. I do like that they're connected to the medical clinic though.

The main store is pretty large, you can get almost everything you need there. A bit sad that they stopped selling eggs. The lady's working the counter are always friendly, but its odd that I have never seen a guy working here(been living on the street for over 5 years). The pharmacy is quick, and their always friendly and easy to chat with. **Wait time for prescription drugs is usually 10min. The Canada post is nice enough to offer free envelopes; depending on who's working.

But I was proven yet again that assumptions are always wrong. Their pricing is just as good and they also take Air Miles. The staff are friendly and helpful but most of the time you have to ask them for help before they will offer it. That's alright though, since when they do start to help I never feel like I am putting them out of their way. They are happy to give me a hand. They have a good enough selection of products to choose from but I wish they had more of a healthy food section. They basically don't have one but do have a few products kicking around. And with so much space, I think they could afford to implement a food section. But at the end of the day, most things I want to get at a pharmacy are here. And given the fact that this Pharmacy is closer to me than the other ones, I'll be stopping by here before I go into the mega Pharmacies.

Believe it or not, this small drugstore has a great gift-ware selection so if you are in a jam for a gift you may want to pop in to this Lawtons. I also like that they have a Home Health section where you can buy or rent just about anything you may need to make life at home easier.
