I've been following them on IG and finally got to visit them. The whole place is so cute and the staff is just great . Sadly I got there after 3 pm so the hot food was already done but next time I'm coming for some hot food . We did try an Alcapurria and chicken empandas, and they were delicious and great flavor . We also tried a Nutella chocolate crossisant, and it was simply amazing. The restaurant is decorated so cute and very clean . So now I know hot food is served until 3 so you gott come early. So happy we found our new Latin hot spot in the WC... Checking out the Yelp Hot & New section we stumbled upon Kinka's and boy were we pleased. This new kid on the block in Wesley Chapel has lots going for it. The owners are super friendly and treated us like family from the moment we walked in the door. We decided on the classic Cuban sandwich and a Media noche which were amazing. The sandwiches were stuffed to the gills with tons of Serrano ham and fresh savory roasted pork... The food was ok, I ordered toast and some pastries and my husband ordered a ham and cheese sandwich on "pan sobao". He asked to add an egg but we were told it was not possible. We paid $32 for the following: Butter toast Ham and cheese sandwich on pan sobao 2 quesitos w guava 1 Nutella filled croissant 1 pastelillo de pionono 2 sodas We waited about 15-20 minutes in line just to order the food. Then we waited another 20-25 minutes to get our food. They served me cheese toast, instead of butter toast and they were cold. My husband's sandwich was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The pastries are VERY good. Pricey but good. If I enjoy the food, I don't mind the price point. The person taking orders lacks customer service skills. Her facial expressions are not friendly and she doesn't even greet customers. We sat by the cash register and constantly listened to her telling customers NO. Im big on finding solutions for customers - not a good look for the business at all. The ordering system isn't ideal. The person on the cash register takes your order and then tells another person to get your pastries or drinks. The problem is that the person on the register instead of giving the full order to the other person, breaks down the order and the other person has to make multiple trips to complete one order. This is very frustrating for the customer and holds the line. Therefore the long wait times. I'm all about customer service. The place can be a hole in the wall but if you treat me well you will have my support forever. I think they have potential but need to improve their ordering system and customer service. read more

I ordered many different types of bakery items. I can't remember all the names of them. However, the empanada was really good and there was a local Puerto Rican pastry. That was also really good. I also got the tiramisu and the rice pudding. Everything I got there was good. You can't really go wrong with any of the items on the menu. I would highly recommend anything on the menu. I had friends that ordered other options as well and they enjoyed everything thoroughly. The service was so nice. The people in the back are so kind and so accommodating and gave really good recommendations. This is more like a café and you can choose your food as you walk a little bit more of the casual side. I'm not sure how I've lived 2 miles away and have never been to Kinkas. What a delicious, cute, Cuban cafe. We had the Cubano sandwiches, the chicken noodle soup, beef empanadas, ham and cheese empanadas, and carrot cake. Each one was amazing! The cafe has some indoor and outdoor seating. It's very clean - bathroom, too! Service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely cannot wait to come back. 10/10! read more

The baked goods are fabulous! It's a cute and cozy place. We stayed to eat breakfast, but our over-easy eggs were over hard for me and medium for my friend. I also don't like being served on paper plates. If I came back I would stick to the sandwiches. As a former server, I'm also offended being asked, via payment screen, for a tip for counter service. This practice is getting out of hand everywhere. They don't bring the food to the table. You have to get up to retrieve it yourself. I would return for the baked goods or a sandwich to go. read more

Love when Pasco gets a new bakery, and Kinka's is no exception. Kinkas is located a few minutes away from the Tampa Outlet Mall. This visit we only bought from the dessert section but all the selections were very good. We ordered the cannoli, a guava pastry and the cherry cheesecake. The bakery was very knowledgeable about the desserts and were able to let me know which items had an allergen we were concerned about. The service and ambiance were top notch. Only issues I have had was I waited behind 3 people for 30 minutes to be able to Order , the. When I wanted to order food . I was told to get in another line to order food, which at that point I was there much longer than I wanted to already. Suggestion have a second register opened , consider making a little window to take orders outside for to go. I been here 3 times already , same experience each time with how long it takes to order, but the food keeps me coming back. read more

Kinka's has a really great lunch menu and a variety of tasty pastries. I have frequented the location a few times for their lunch because it was so good and each pastry I try does not disappoint. I think their sandwiches are OK and could use some improvements but definitely worth a try. I think it's a cute ambience but not much seating is available when it's super busy.
