A month later my mother proceeded to get calls from Brandon Hastings (at the same law firm) who gave her advise on how to represent herself. He then sent her a bill for $5000 for the phone calls without having her even sign or agree on any payments for said advice. This law firm took advantage of my disabled mother!! Even after you confirm they are no longer your lawyers they will still call you just to bill you!!! They have now charged her $15,000 and did not even represent her in court as this was not enough!

I phoned about 5 days ago to see what was happening and found out Kathryn Pintye left the firm the first week afteer I left my file. and they had no record. senior adviser of this Firm Dale Framingham , today emailed me that "diodn't exist and didn't happen" and direction to find Kathryn Pintye and the incident hadnt happen ed as they had n o files. so statue of limitation over??? anyhow beware

In short, we paid for a letter which was essentially never sent. I feel office staff treated me as…read moreif I was completely unimportant when I brought the horrific spelling in the draft letter they provided to their attention. I left the draft letter with my corrections with the office staff and it never reached the person it was intended for until after the case was settled and I inquired as to what had happened to the letter. If I hadn't become suspicious after the fact and asked the intended receiver to confirm they had received the letter when they should have, I would never have known that they did not. Bringing this to the firm's attention, I was never offered a refund but basically told it was not a big deal that this happened since they later spoke to the receiver who said it wouldn't have made a difference anyways if they had received the letter. This is exactly what I had paid for - to have this letter sent - and it did not happen until after this case was settled. The firm offered nothing in the way of compensation other than a weak apology - no refund of course. There were other issues with records not properly kept and appalling spelling and grammatical mistakes in documents, continuing on after I first complained about it - I would steer clear of this firm.
