When it came time to closing on our purchase, she was uncommunicative, scattered, and did not give us our calculation of property transfer tax in a timely manner. I emailed her every day to ask - as I would need to release the funds from my TFSA and it took a couple business days -- and she still did not get back to me. As it was out first time purchasing, we had no idea what to expect on how high the transfer tax can be. When she finally told us the amount - it was too late - We ended up having to ask family for support on this and it was really stressful and did not need to be. I would not recommend her to anyone. Read the other reviews - she takes on more business than she can handle.

I buzzed the door, he opened the door, his facial expression like, shocked to see me with my partner who happens to be White. Then he goes: " are you guys together l!?" Then I asked if We weren't, why would I bring a random lady (person) to this meeting!? His response & I quote:" Oh We have some people coming to the door randomly, want to entre the building "!!! Anyways, after this unprofessional dude, asking few personal questions about who this White lady was and how did we meet, ... lol... he throws me disrespectfully a bunch of documents to sign. This is by far the most unpleasant Notary public I ever visited in Vancouver. Horrible, disrespectful, unprofessional and rude.

BEWARE. I went there to get my dental licence application notarized and my first visit went fine,…read moreit was 40 dollars to get it notarized which is the normal price. Than I notice they forgot to give me a picture photocopy and notarize it as well (three papers had to be notarized) so I went back and go that done and the blonde receptionist charged me an extra 25 dollars so that's 65 dollars TOTAL.. Which is NOT right and absolutely ridiculous! That should've been included in the 40 dollars the first time. They didn't read my papers properly and charged me extra for their forgetfulness. I'd recommend going to the Kingsway notary which is 40 all in all.
