Walk-ins are welcome and usually accommodated, but make an appointment for better service. This office closes for the summer on April 15th so don't plan on them assisting throughout the year if you file interim. Tax preparers are always nice and friendly. I no longer dread this experience.

The company continued to ask for the same information and documents over and over again. I understand that since the crisis Mortgage Companies have to be more vigilant. Alcova is on the verge of paranoia. All of this with a current rating score of over 815-820! I can't imagine what they would ask for from someone starting out or buying their first house. We built a house and paid off two homes on top of the rating. However this is the least of our issues. We didn't even pay the first payment to Alcova when we got a notice that they sold our Mortgage to Shellpoint . Shellpoint can not find our file per the auto telephone operator and you can not speak to a live person! This is the outcome of using Alcova Mortgage Company. This issue continues and Alcova gets one star because it is the least allowed!
